as for what is io : .io - it is just a top level domain like .com

I had announced it previously (http://imaginativeworlds.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10370&highlight=drop.io), just that now whatever you drop gets put into the forum automagically, so we can see the latest dropped items.

It is a file sharing mechanism basically. You can read the FAQ here (http://drop.io/faq).
