I seem to recall a small audio blurb played on the news from one of the passengers on one of the 911 planes. Maybe it was the plane that was forced down and crashed in that field?
Here are two mp3 files of 4m each from FL11. On them a FA calls AA reservation center and reports that 2 men had sprayed mace and stabbed the first class FA's, then went into the cockpit and locked the door. The second file is a conversation between the AA reservation center and AA emergency desk. I have no idea of their validity but they're here for your consumption.

Audio 2 (http://www.fromtheflightdeck.com/assorted/AmericanFlight11Audio-2.mp3)
If they become unavailable I haved them saved.

These were brought out as being real originally, but I have heard many say they are fake for various reasons.
I'm not sure, but they are chilling!

The text window won't allow me to copy and paste my prepared text.
The Manage Attachments feature won't allow me to upload my JPG
Even though the JPG is only 75K and less than 300 x 300 pixels.
Oh well.
So much for my comments.

I don't know.
I don't know if the problem is at this end or that one.
Other sites / pages load without problem.
But, ... on occasions, ... I.W. Forum loads slow .. or not at all.
Posting options are sometimes non-functional.
I don't have this problem with other sites.
Oh well.

Hi gorm, sure you know this, but always try reloading the page if you see wierd stuff... even closing and reopening your browser if refreshing does not help.
It is possible that the more advanced funtions of the forum are causing problems with your browser and/or browser plugins. I would try another browser and see if that helps, and possibly disable javascript to see if that solves the problem. You could try switching to another skin in your CP.
We have to remember this is a reasonably large forum in terms of content, so some pages may load slower than others, but it should not be noticeably different than other sites in the same geographic areas.

What works best is to LEAVE for a few hours .. and come back later.
When I do that ... the problem always seems to go away.

According to investigators, ... a cell phone won’t work from an airplane that is flying at the altitude that these planes were flying at.
The cell phone radio towers are orientated to send and receive cell phone signals from the ground, .. not high up in the air.
So the authenticity of these recordings has been questioned by quite a few people.
On the other hand, ... the aircrafts that were video taped, filmed, and photographed as they crashed into the World Trade Center towers were United States Air Force modified 767’s ... and not hijacked American Airlines passenger aircrafts.
The American Airlines flight from Boston to Los Angeles that allegedly was the source of the cell phone call in audio track number one did not crash into the second WTC tower, ... no matter what the 9-11 commission says.
There are hundreds of photographs and video tapes that prove this quite conclusively.
It’s obvious that the flight from Boston to Los Angeles is a different plane from the one that crashed into the second tower.
What actually happened to the “hijacked” American Airlines flights .. and the passengers, ... remains a deep dark mystery.

The audio clips that you've posted are amazing, Dark Skies.
They deserve much more attention than they've been getting.
For what it's worth ... I'm grateful to you for making them available in this discussion.
