The White Roots of Peace Gatherings
Our ancient Cherokee "Elohi" (traditions) tell of a time when "the children of the stars will come to the aid of Elohi Gi ni lisi ( Earth our Mother). So, for some time I had been expecting "Aliens" to land and straighten things out. However, the same Elohi also teaches us that "in the long, long past, seven brothers came from the stars and married with the children of the Sun.." and from this union the native Peoples of this continent were born. So, I believe, the truth is that WE ARE the children of the stars and it is us that must take the responsibility to "come to the aid of Mother Earth" and all her inhabitants.
I found the following article in a Native publication and wanted to share it with all of you who mean so very much to me. It reaffirms the wisdom and sight of the Elders and strengthens my resolve to take responsibility and make a difference.
The following excerpts are from a prophecy that was delivered by Cherokee Lee Brown in 1986 at the Continental Indigenous Council, Fairbanks, Alaska.- The words in parenthesis are my summations.
(They prophesied the coming of the automobile and soon after the 'First Shaking of the World' - The First World War) " ...And so they knew something very important would happen. There would be an attempt to make peace on earth on the west coast of this land...They began to hear that there was going to be a League Of Nations in San Francisco, so the elders gathered in Arizona around 1920 or so, and theywrote a letter to Woodrow Wilson. They asked if the Indian People could be included in the League Of Nations. The United States Supreme Court had held that a reservation is a separate and semi-soveriegn nation, not a part of the United States, but protected by it. This became a concern because people...didn't want them to be considered nations. So they did not write back, and the Native people were left out of the League of Nations so that circle was incomplete...The elders knew that peace would not come on the earth until the circle of humanity is complete..."
(Mr. Brown went on to relate how the Nazi presence and the "Second Shaking of the World" was foretold. He then went on to relate how the "rising sun in the east" - the rise of Japan -was foretold and it's subsequent Nuclear disaster) "The worse misuse of the Guardianship of the fire is called the gourd of ashes. They said the gourd of ashes will fall from the air. It will make the people like blades of grass in the prairie fire, and things will not grow for many seasons... the atomic bomb... The Elders wanted to speak about it in 1920...The elders tried to contact President Roosevelt and ask him not to use the gourd of ashes because it would have a great effect on the earth and eventually cause even greater destruction and a Third Shaking of the Earth, the Third World War.
