This morning I remembered my dream. That in itself is unusual.

I saw a snake in my dream a few months ago, but it was outside and I saw it when I opened the door. All I did was shut the door and all was fine. I figured this was phallic since I also remembered having sex in that dream. heh

Well, this morning I remembered my second snake dream. A white snake. It had a few dark rings on it. Well, next thing I know, it is biting me but I don't remember being bitten nor did I feel any pain. The snake just hung there under my shirt. It was holding on under my left breast where it meets my chest. Just hanging there. I tried to pull it off a few times, but I guess I just stopped trying because I was walking around with it dangling there under my shirt. It seemed totally relaxed, or maybe it was dead? I could only see the white of the snake, none of the rings at this point. I remember being embarrassed and trying to hide the snake when I was around people.

At some point, I guess it fell off but I don't remember that. I only remember telling someone and showing them the two puncture wounds where it had been.

I also remember seeing my first cat in the dream (lost him last year).

I am going through a health crisis right now, and after reading some things on the internet about snakes and their meaning in dreams, I'm not sure what the message is.

Your thoughts?

Do not be quick to believe what is written about symbols in dreams, each person has a different signifigance attatched the things they see, ask yourself what it might represent to you....and take it from there...books can give an overview but only you know the true meaning. JMHO

A few night ago, I dreamed of a red snake. For the longest time, I could not move as I often have sleep paralysis or seem to move terribly slowly in my dreams.

I finally however dicided to pick up the snake behind the head but did not have a good enough hold on it and it bit me on the thumb. The snake then flatened its body out very wide, like a cobra's head but it was the entire legnth of the snake.

After that, others took the snake away and I don't know what happend from there on.

Student, many hypothesize that seeing a snake in one's dreams represents the stirring of kundalini, as opposed to the older Freudian version....although perhaps there is some small congruency there.
