I have always had a strong interest in the Paranormal. UFO's, Ghosts, Anything anything Para-normal in nature. I suspect it comes from a UFO sighting I had as a small child that seems to be covered up.

As a young child in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada in the late 1970's (I wish I had a more accurate date) I was out one evening with a number of relatives when this bright light streaked across the sky not far above the city. Being a child, I thought it was kind of neat but didn't think much of it. The next day I remember local talk shows on both TV and Radio going on and on about the occurance.

Now years later, with memories of it quite fuzzy, I would write it off as a simple meterorite that came through the earths atmosphere intact. However, any realtive I have asked about it overthe years, even those that I know were with me way back then, deny any knowledge of what I know I saw and of what ws all overthe news and radio the following day. Some deny any knowledge of this event with hesitancy in their voice which tells me clearly that there is something here they do not want to discuss or remember. So this is more then just a meterorite.

I wish I had more accurate details and dates on the event. To my knowledge this is my only encounter with a UF. Assuming that it was one.

It could be because of their age now that your relatives honestly don't remember. Just a passing light in the sky and it didn't impress them. But you being a child was impressed and excited by the event. I know with my own mother being 88 now she doesn't remember things the same way that i do.
I know when i was about 9 there was a metetor that broke up in the sky like a fire ball. My friends and i even picked up ashes that were scattered all over the place. I can almost guarantee you that my mother would have no memory of this although she saw the meteor and the ashes. Just not a priority for parents who were too busy keeping house and raising us kids.

I have had many ,well not many ,but several encounters/abductions,and the memories can be suppresed, but not erased. They are hidden away just like some obscure computer file that you rarely use. They are still there, but put into a section that is rarely accessed. They only appear in dreams, momentary visions, and as obscure seemingly random daydream thoughts.

JMHO,and observation

In July of 1975.On the 10th. I saw three, shiny silver, disc-shaped objects pass over our neighborhood. I was playing in the front yard with my younger brother. Both of us watched these discs flying low and slow from the southwest to the northeast in a classic V formation. We saw them for about thirty seconds before the vanished over the trees and beyond our sight. Many years later I found out that a doctor and two nursing students saw the same three objects flying over the hospital about a mile northeast of my location. Very probably on the same day that my brother and I saw them.

I think most of us have seen some form of UFO - as in NOT a conventional aircraft! The BIG unknown 64K$ question - is it ours or is it not?? There lies the big question and there lies one of the biggest unanswered questions for mankind of all time. If it's not ours - the ramifications will be mind boggling in the possibilities!

Personally - I think this is why our Government is taking "the head in the sand approach" when it comes to public disclosure! They're NOT ours! :alienship

My 2 cents,
