I have been reading the accounts of Ghosts over at Shadowlands.com of late. Some of them are quite good, some are mediocre and some are just downright unremarkable and boring. I nonetheless find myself quite entertained by them. I also find myself quite astonished at how stupid some of these people can be, what with playing around with Ouija Boards or going to Seances and opening themselves up to attack by evil entities.

My impression of Shadowlands is that they post any reports of hauntings that they get. This is not necessarily a bad thing, as it provides a great deal of entertainment. However, I'm coordinating investigations for an up-and-coming research team in Washington state, and having to filter through 27 pages (printed) of purportedly haunted locations with many of them being absolutely ludicrous was a tad frustrating.

Can you recommend any good sites that may be a bit more discrete in their postings?

Unfortunately, I haven't found a "Best Of" site as yet. You might also check out "Castle Of Spirits (http://www.castleofspirits.com/)". I'll be looking for more, so stay tuned.

Yeah - I know CK a lot of it's subjective. I guess it's all subjective unless a ghost walks up to you and shakes your hand! Then what!

Pardon me while I partake of a tasty beverage. :drink:
There, that's better.
Well, if a ghost walks up to you and shakes your hand, you do one of two things: you either look at the situation from a scientific point of view and gather what data you can (Audio, vidio, textual, etc.), or you totally freak out and run screaming in terror from the place. :D

Do you think one could maintain a presence of mind enough to gather any data?
