You should have all read my posts over the last 24 hours to learn how squirrelled my computer is. When I turned it on this afternoon it doesn't reflect any active icons to suggest that the IOLO software is functional
yet under the control panel/security settings it states there turned on.
When I try to click on the IOLO icon under the program settings NOTHING
happens as if they've been uninstalled or intentionally turned off.
This program/software worked perfectly fine for almost 48 hours ... I sent the registration off only to notice NO RETURN REPLY from IOLO.
I just surfed over to there website to re-register it in the hopes this will
repair the situation. If not I've have to resort to phoning customer service
direct on Monday.

I was able to resolve some of the problems after posting my disatisfaction
It also helped to re-register my software before doing the search for
the actual date of install which was Jan 31, ... learning that it had been
buggered up by Feb 2 where I found the install exe that worked to reinstall
the software.
Just keep your fingers crossed that all continues to function.

Here's the update ... the software works with IE yet I'm seeing popup windows recording errors on MSN webpage when I use IE browers.
When I use Firefox I don't have those problems.
Next issue ... my registration validation has never been returned from IOLO
The popup blocker had worked fined on Jan 31 as did the main console to the IOLO .... those don't function properly unless I log on line first... whats really scarey is watching it connect and not allowing the firewall or anti virus to turn on.
Its fairly certain my network of fans just can't leave my software alone.
PS I have use every type of spy bot ware you can find and it never locates anything ... LOL ... and I know there's problems.

There is a hint hidden in there somewhere...

What I've found that I don't like when using Firefox is I don't have a way to manage the cookies or history ... its as if that option has been delayed
not giving me, the user, any control.
I still can't get the control panel for the IOLO to function ... its been overridden by outside hands.
On a brighter note, I'd like to say that a 65 year old friend of mine has suddenly
developed a problem with her CPU bogging down which was what started me on this rant when mine started that after the 48 hour initial install of IOLO was
taken down.

Its beyond me why I'm of such interest ... I've never been a programmer nor have I ever wanted to be known as the queen of beta from the outer limits
of cyberspace.
Yet that's precisely what I've become over the last 10 years.
Granny socks at your beckon call.

The newest glitch ... watching my email suddenly delete everything. Yes, folks it deleted everything by itself from my inbox/sent to my trash this past week.
I decided to ignore that after I'd requested my daughter's help. She did not
delete any of my inbox or my sent.
So next I decided to give it a couple of days to see if there was any sequence
to these strange glitches. NONE have been found ... and I'm back to not being able to delete my trash but my sent and inbox is functioning normally.
In the meantime I've noticed that an ordered I'd place had two slight changes
made ... can't say if that was an input error on my part.

In FF, go to Tools>Options>Privacy
There you can clear cookies, delete cookies, etc...
And then if you want some real control, install something like https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/573/.
Anything IE can do, FF can do better.

I'm happy to report that my back is back to normal after a strange paranormal
experience in the middle of the night. I'll post more on the proper thread.
I'm ready for some power pops ... lollipop diet for curbing hunger before I take a bit out of my software.
IOLO will never understand why there stuff doesn't function.

I just tried to use the clip feature on the firefox tool bar to discover it clips anything but doesn't allow for pasting anywhere. How strange is that?
Its a worthless piece of crap

I just decided to delete three files that are all tied to a MahJongg game
It might be the problem that has corrupted my printer ... my XP plug and play by Microsoft doesn't work nor does it pop up any reason for my printer not being found. It use to work then suddenly it didn't. The printer still works fine as
a copier in the stand alone mode of operation.
By the way who added the train?

There is no clip function :) You have as usual installed some strange software that is now confusing you.
You bring it all on yourself Top! The best working computer is one with nothing extra at all installed, no mahjongg games, no clipmarks, nothing but Firefox and Thunderbird. You will be safe if you do this. If you install even one program you are not 100% sure of, you just potentially blew it.

I've got another question ... I noticed a tool icon in my running programs that
read "Disable Flyout I" after I tried to copy an article on the law suit filed in Anchorage, Alaska to cap/prevent BP CEO's from receiving millions in retirement benefits.
Why in the world would that be a problem?

Hey at this point in time ... does anyone want to purchase two used computers?
Mine are totally worthless to me now

I had to drop the firewall for the last free for all battle
After paying another 30 dollars for some anti-spy ware that WORKED today
to find it got hacked a few hours later. Why do they insist upon using me
as a target?
Oh by the way that Korean language that had been on the top of my IE7 tool
bar was listed as ENRINO out of Poland per the anti-spy ware that I had so much trouble with in Dec and Jan.
Next I did find a log stashed among my files listing one application of backdoor
tcip (ACU client utilities) as 7/26.2006 when my true wi-fi connections where 7/17.2006
The only thing I can possibly come up with for all this unknown attention
might be based upon all my past computer problems. If not I'm sure it has something to do with my biological father's past work history in the CIA.

"Duuude, like, next time that you get a new computer and stuff, make it a Mac.
That'll mean noooo more viruses or hacking of your system(s) for you.
And while you're at it, make it a Mac Laptop. I've got the Mac Laptop Pro and I turn my "Airport" on and get free broadband internet off of my next door neighbor. Saving money on broadband charges is helping me pay for this little baby.
In this world, evidently, it's 'Mac or bust (and, no, I'm not employed by them. . . yet).'"

Yeah and allow me to retell an event from 1999 when I was living in New Mexico
my neighbors had a nice Apple and during Halloween of that year we all serious problems ... that the ABQ techs have never seen with an Apple. There hard drive was totally destroyed after they tried to help me with a job application.
Apple had never seen that type of attack upon there equipment/software.
My 30 dollar software that I purchased has been corrupted ... I just ran it again to read that it had been installed on Jan 30th of 2007 when I purchased it online
yesterday ... it also insists that I have no threats when I know I do after a pop up AD window was exposed before C2C was broadcast last night or before dropping my firewall.
None of this makes sense ... by 1998 I had validated my phone lines where tapped when the installer for QWEST found
it and again in 1999 when QWEST couldn't back track it or prevent it. So the saga continues

I do recall a problem with Apple in the past, but when you compare one problem with the Mac and umpteen million problems with the PC, it's a no-brainer who wins as the best overall computer.
