Well it was what me and the wife call date night and we lay in the livingroom and watch movies after the kids go to bed.Well we fell a sleep and in the morning we both woke up and didnt say anything to each other and it seemed like we where pissed off with each other cause we didnt want to talk to each other. So after a hour os so I strike up a convo and say hey hun I had the weirds dream lastnight and went on to tell here about my dream. After telling her my dream she looked at me with the weirdest look and said I had the same dream, I was like hmmmm I dont think you can have the exact some dream as someone else on the same night I mean whats the odds she shrugged her shoulders and we went on with or day a little quit at first and then it went back to normal. What happen was as we where sleeping I felt/heard something was in our kitchen and so I started to look that was and when I did I thought I seen a shadow mover just out of sight into the kitchen so me being me I went to get up to see what it was cause I thought someone broke in to our place so I was going to see who was there. When I went to get up all of a sudden I couldn't move and the harder I moved the faster I was going under so I tried to relax and was able to enough to see what looked like a ficken humanliike body with a bug like head coming out of the dark and the thing I knwo I went under and then it was morning. My wife was same except she fought it and went under faster then me and she didnt get to see it but everything esle was the same. I 'm not saying I have been taken by an alien because I really dont know if I was but it was pretty wierd stuff. I have seen SOme strange things in the sky with many people and bye myself on many occasions what I seen I dont know because was there was behind the light and didnt see a disk or what ever, I can say what ever they have been was airplanes because Im in to aircraft and nothing we have can move like that. Sooooo thats my story. Like I said no fun in that story, I dont scare easy Im also a fireman and Iv'e never been really scared when fire fighting and I have been in so doooozes but that night scared me and that pisses me off.
Sounds like you had a very strange, but real experience. Thanks for being brave enough to share it with us.

ninj....that's an incredible experience and you both shared it...I don't know what to say.
I'm sure you more than anyone would like to know what that really was. The paralysis or going under is much like what Jim is describing tonight as well.

Don't worry about the typing ninj...communication is all that really counts.
I'm sure you would like to get to the bottom of this on your terms....
Paralysis seems to be their way of subduing when they feel anger or so it seems by what Jim is sharing.

You are in good company here then. We do try and tell it just like it is, or our perceptions of it, regardless of what others think. Of course we try and remain civil and respect everyone's opinions in that process.

I agree about the scared part Dera...i think what's likely worse is not being able to put it in any concrete context and/or understand it. That's what would eat me up the most if I had one of these.
I also think it's good that Jim doesn't read or get in to anyone else's material or theory...he doesn't want to skew his experience and understanding by keeping it in the first person.

An experience like that would make me so lonely and wonder about my own sanity. I wouldn't be able to help talking about it and looking for someone--anyone--who might be a kindred spirit or understand from their own experiences.

Drat. It is over. I am going to listen again. Also, that December show is still in the 90-day frame so I can listen to that again, too.
Well, I recently checked the Coast site and tomorrow's show still said,"TBA".
Geo. must be on his rubber raft, floating around again with the format.

The Allagash Abductions is a part of the UFO / Alien Abduction theories.
The Allagash abductions occurred on August 20, 1976 when four men in their mid-twenties ventured on a camping trip into the Allagash wilderness of Maine, United States. The men's story is as follows:
As darkness settled that August night, the men built a blazing campfire which they expected to burn all night long. Then they headed out in a canoe across the lake for a short trip. The next thing they remembered was rowing back to shore and finding the campfire burned out.
They thought they were gone only a few minutes, but strangely, did not discuss how the campfire could be burned out so soon. Instead, they promptly went to sleep without any discussion. After several years of nightmares and sleep disturbances, the friends began asking each other if something terrifying had happened to them on the camping trip which they couldn't remember.
Under separately conducted hypnotic regressions, the men recalled being abducted from the canoe in the middle of the lake. Despite their attempt to escape by rowing to shore, a blue beam of light overhead pulled them into a hovering UFO. The men were probed and subjected to many physical and medical procedures.
The Allagash abductions achieved notoriety as the first well-documented, multiple abduction case.
However, it is not known, as with most abduction cases, if their story was true or a hoax.

Sorry I couldn't say goodnight to everybody last night but I was booted off for the fourth time and just didn't have the patience to try again.
Have read through all the pages and was amazed at Ninj's experience. Sounded so similar to what Jim Sparks was saying. Of all the abduction guests that I've heard, this guy is the most believable to me. Nobody could make up all those details for 2 hours straight. I loved his story about the musket's pointed at his head when he asked the alien's about the speed of light. This story is what convinced me that he is the real mccoy. :yup:

(Positive Memo... inre: this particular show)
I listened to the the show twice last night and found it in many ways filling my HAT of confidence where my research is involved. His delivery was impressive.
I can't help but feel that the assigned maintanence crew from above has arrived ...an observation report is in the making which will be reviewed during the so called jujdgement. So looks like there is still time to adjust. Help out thy neighbor. Stop fighting and get prepared. Watching argumentative SOAP OPERAS is not optional.

I enjoyed listening to the 12/09/06 Sparks interview but I felt a little disappointed with the second interview. Sparks was still very entertaining to listen to and I just had to buy his book. Mission accomplished Jim?
With that said...I am anxious to hear the results of the battery of polygraph tests that Sparks agreed to take. Hopefully someone is following up with that and will report back to the show soon with the results. If six months from now this guy has not agreed to the terms of a polygraph test than I guarantee you he is a fraud...or he is mentally ill.
I want to believe Spark's story but I am very skeptical of the way that they are selling this guy. I do not know if this is Spark's people or Coast to Coast's marketing people, but I do not like it when they try to build someone's credibility by giving us vague details about the person's past. Just how successful was Sparks with his previous companies? What was his highest net worth? Did he lose it all and go bankrupt, and then decide to write a book? The whole part about the way he built houses and wanted to save as many trees as possible sounds like a convenient bunch of BS to me.
I am only about 60 pages into his book but I am having a hard time buying the parts in the book about his wife. She is written into the book in a way that tries to build his credibility by validating his story with a second person that supposedly knows his secret but won't tell anyone. Why? Because the Aliens either told her not to talk about it with anyone or because she thinks they are her secret angels...or some crap like that.
Anyway...like I said, I like Sparks and I want to believe him, I would just like to hear him answer some tuff questions instead of all these (Larry King-like) softballs that Art keeps throwing him. I have not listen to Art long enough to know if this is his usual modus operandi with guests.
C'mon Art you had two months to come up with new questions for your new golden boy and that's the best that you could do? I am sure Art realized that he struck radio gold with this guy and I assume that he did not press him very hard so he can keep him coming back again and again.
To Art's credit, he did point out one minor inconsistency in Spark's story. In the first interview Sparks said that he thought some people "might" or "could" have died from a heart attack or a stroke when being pulled the hard way. But in the second interview his message to people being abducted was "don't worry, they are not going to hurt you". So which is it?
And what about the military pulling people? Sparks said that he was the military's first successful guinea pig to be pulled the hard way. Were there unsuccessful attempts? Yikes! Where is Jimmy Hoffa? I could have sworn that he was standing right there just a second ago.

I like the fact that Sparks had a normal, successful life as a sane person before any of this happened to him. It adds credence to this story.
I am still waiting for the proof that he had a normal and successful life.
Let's start with where did he go to high-school? I grew up about 20 miles from Ft. Myers, FL. Let's log into classmate.com and talk to some of the people that he went to school with. Did he attend any class reunions? If so, what was he like? Let's talk to his english teachers. What types of things did he write about when he was a kid? Was he into science fiction? Did he like Fruit Loops?
And then there's the successful business person story. If you are successful a lot of people are going to know you. Let's talk to some of the people that he worked with, or that worked for him?
And where is that guy that he mentioned in the first show? The fellow abductee? Where was he during the second show? Did they have trouble finding him? Was he too busy? Too shy? Wanted too much money to appear?

Hello DropDeadZed and Welcome to IW!!!
http://bestsmileys.com/welcome/1.gif
I totally enjoyed Jim Sparks on both appearances and agree with much of what you write.
I think it would be great if you send some of your input to Art. I'm sure he is planning to have him on again. I certainly hope that Art has read his book and will be able to drill down further.
Whatever the outcome though, this has been some of the best "wanna take a ride" type talk radio we've heard in a very long time since we've heard either a Mel Waters or a Dr Jonathan Reid type on Coast.
I am still waiting for the proof that he had a normal and successful life.

Again, some very good points. In addition to the lie detector, I think Coast/Premiere certainly has deep enough pockets to do some depth investigation on Sparks if they wanted to.
Should be really interesting to find out how all this shakes out.

Too early to tell. I have been very busy with work so I am only about half way through it. Hopefully I can finish it tonight.
I am hoping that it picks up in the second half. So far I have not learned much more than I did listening to the two C2C shows.

I just finished the book and I would say that it's worth reading. I do not have time to write a full review right now but I will come back tomorrow and give a more in-depth review.
The first three quarters of the book is slow. I did not really learn much more than I had already heard during the first two C2C Art Bell interviews. The last 25% of the book heats up and Sparks begins to go into detail about the Alien message for planet earth.
At the end of the book he also starts to talk about the visits that he has from time travelers from earth's future. He says that some of the time travelers are from hundreds of years into the future and some are from thousands (even tens of thousands) of years in the future. Sparks seems to be a popular guy in the future. I assume he succeeds with his mission to save Earth.
I was surpised to see at the very end of the book that there was a $20 DVD available with in depth interviews with Sparks. I had not heard about this DVD or read about it anywhere.
