Worked for me but I'm no nerd. I used to pick on the nerds. Now I work for them.:banghead:

I can't get the image to appear but I scored "16" not nerdy at all.

The server must have been having a bad hair day when I tried it the first time.

Overall, you scored as follows:

9% scored higher (more nerdy),
0% scored the same, and
91% scored lower (less nerdy).

What does this mean? Your nerdiness is:

Supreme Nerd. Apply for a professorship at MIT now!!!.

I hung out with the nerds. They did a good job keeping the cads away, :popworm:
and were a heck of a lot more fun! :icon16:

In a few short decades, nerd has gone from an insult to a term of reverence :)

I think there must be different kinds of nerds. I love books and read a lot but I am not a computer wiz. The computer questions were plenty. So if being a nerd requires a lot of computer expertise then I guess I am not your modern day nerd.

Hi McNo  ....so what did you get on the test?!?!?!?

I agree with what you wrote above though. I'm a computer spaz...just ask P :wall: , however I seem to have done well on the test. Like you, I read alot...was a good student and guess I try to be a life long student....guess that's what makes my Nerd quotient up there!!

The test, as you'll see is not just about computers.....must be a "holistic" nerd test! ;)

Geeks are computer nerds.

Nerds are bookworms.

Just thought I should clear this up.

I was somewhat of a nerd. 59%. Higher than I expected. Never thought of myself as a nerd. I have a special place in my heart for nerds though.

My brother is a nerd and he married a nerd. The younger members of the family call him "Uncle Nerd". When we were young and still at home (60's) his bedroom closet was an electronic wonderland. Nobody knew what he did with all this stuff but he lived on his shortwave radio with his nose buried in a National Geographic mag. His night table was the home for books by Bertrand Russell, Aldous Huxely and Einstein. He was 17 then. He used to explain the 'theory of relativity' to me in detail. I used to pretend to be interested as I was honoured that he would take the time to explain anything to his little sister.

He became a machinist and is now retired and still as nerdy as ever. Spends his time on Flight Simulator and still has stacks of National Geographic mags, every one that he ever bought.

Hmmm... I think I deserve a few bonus points for taking a class a few years ago called Ethnomathematics - where we learned the History of Math. Starting with a base 6 system, learning basic numbers in Cuneiform, Egyptian heiroglyphics, Greek, Roman etc... and then working out equations from the culture they came from in the right number system. I got an A. Can I have some extra points?

nope, sorry, that is brainy, or intellectual ;)

Nerdy is more if you studied the ethnomathematics of the klingon empire...

Well, you will occassionally run into a nerd who is also a cad. If you veer the conversation topic towards nerdy subjects, their caddiness will sometimes disappear. If not, the standard defense against cads will probably work. {Firmly stand your ground and vomit.} If that doesn't work, run!
