Yesterday afternoon I took a nap around 2 pm. I had a dream about a local Christian camp/retreat in our area. (Which is odd because I haven't thought about this place in a long time. There was no reason for me to even be thinking about the place.) There are a lot of local ghost stories about this site. It is supposedly haunted by the spirit of a lady who starved herself to death there after finding out that her husband was cheating on her. (They were the original owners of the property.) Well anyway in my dream I was confronted by the ghost of this lady and the dream took a very bizarre twist which I won't bother to detail here.
Anyway the most bizarre part of this story is that my 2 sons were hanging out with their grandmother all day today. When they got home they told me that they spent the afternoon hanging out at this place!!! There is a big lake there and they all went swimming and had a picnic out there from about 1 pm to 4 pm!
Their grandma has NEVER taken them there before to my knowledge!
I was actually dreaming about this place at the exact same time they were there in reality, but had no prior knowledge that they were even going to be there!
Weird huh? What are the odds??

Hi dave77 and WELCOME to Imaginative Worlds!!

Thanks for sharing your experience!! I don't really think it falls in to the "bucket" of prophetic dreams, yet obviously you were tapping in to something or something was tapping in to you to manifest this sychronicity.
Could it have been an OBE? Did you actually see your sons and their grandmother in your experience?
I'd be interested if others here have had a similar experience/s and what they thought it was.
Would you be wiling to share the "bizarre" twist in that dream? I'd be most interested to read it.
Again welcome to our forum...glad to have you with us!! :)

It's these simple experiences that most of us just put out of our minds without much further thought as it doesn't make any sense to us at the time.
Thanks for sharing dave77 and welcome to the IW.
Nice to have you with us, dave77. http://www.v-rodforums.com/forums/images/smilies/welcome.gif

I guess this is the best place to put this funny dream I had.
I dreamed that I was asleep and bored, and got to thinking about that ghost hunters article I read on C2C. So I thought that white headed psychic guy sure did have cajones, so I'd go screw with him. So I found him driving late at night by himself and I started making stuff in his car pop and breathing down his neck. It was the best I could do but I scared him and he couldn't figure out how to get rid of me. I finally thought, I better get before I make this guy have a wreck, and then it was off to another dream.
What I liked best about this dream was how it made me wake up laughing.
