I just wanted to wish all my Canadian friends a wonderful Holiday Weekend and a Happy Thanksgiving!!

snowbird, Project, blackeyes, Dark Skies, McNo., OhMyG .and all our Canadian members ( hope I didn't miss anyone), as well as lurkers out there who are Canadian of whom I may not be aware!!

This is one of my favorite times of year; a time to celebrate the bounty of this planet and everything, everyone in it.

I have a 25 lb "roast beast" waiting for me to cook this Monday, with all the trimmings, so I'm going to be really busy for the next few days.

I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with your loved ones...and revere all that we have to be thankful for despite the day to day that may get us down now and then.

I'll include having the privilege of getting to know you ALL, in my "thanks"...am I very gratefull for just that :hug:

This is my favourite holiday weekend! I have a turkey and trimmings to cook up too.

That time of year again! I'll be eating salmon sandwiches in the combine but that's par for the course around here.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving.

Big irony in Ontario is that most will be eating turkey on this day, there is a provincial election two days after on Wednesday where the public can choose one of a bunch of turkeys to be their province leader.:ponder:

Happy Turkey Day to you too OhMyG....I think I'd rather vote for the 25 lb roast beast ;) I think they need to add "none of the above" to the ballot :sad:

I'm still pondering if I should take a "comp" day from work on Monday, or no. I could use a day to work on the car.

I've lived in Nevada a couple of times in my short life. Nevada use to have "none of the above" on the ballot. They may still. I just love their rebellious frontier attitude! :banana: Great state. "Bob":alien:
