Ironically, I'm going through some recordings right now from Motown that are simply awesome. May are "precuts", or releases before the song was actually released to the public.

It's interesting to hear how the music changed.

I gotta throw this down. These two songs were meant to be heard one after the other, so I had to include both.

Krokus - Screamin' in the Night

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M6Dgj0K1oL8

    Lyrics:

Sons of vengeance can you rescue me?
They got me tied up to an old oak tree
They had me screamin' and alone in the night
I'm beginning to see what's wrong and what is right

What is wrong and what is right
Oh, ohh, what is wrong and what is right

The gates was gettin' rusty as we sailed into the dark
The stars were out and shinin' against the moonlit hour
The wolves were out and howlin' most of the time
And I was cold and shiverin' and bleedin' in the night

    Bleedin' in the night
Oh, ohh, bleedin' in the night

Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you
I knew it all along, headed for the sun, our love was true
    Our love was true
Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you
I knew it all along, headed for the sun, our love was true, ohh
    Woh woh
[ Krokus Lyrics are found on www.findlyrics.com ]

In the corner of the valley, we took him by surprise
The sound of steel rang loud above the battle cries
I found her lying lifeless, dagger through her heart
I picked her up and held her high and I swore to be avenged

    Swore to be avenged
Oh, ohh, swore to be avenged, ohh

Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you
I knew it all along, headed for the sun, our love was true
    Our love was true
Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you
I knew it all along, headed for the sun, our love was true, ohh

Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you, ohh
I knew it all along, headed for the sun, our love was true
    Our love was true
Screaming in the night, fighting for my life, I'd die for you, ohh
I knew it all along, headed for the sun, our love was true, ohh

Robert Plant and The Strange Sensation - The Enchanter

In 2005, I won tickets to see Robert Plant and this band. (I also got to meet him and the band backstage... WOW!)
This is the song that really grabbed me that night.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2SYqLJkQFsU

    Lyrics:

She moves through the mountains and down to the sea
She sings in celebration with her piper for me
She's leading the man who's beating the drum
Love is all around her on the road to the sun

    Round, round, moving me 'round
    Round, 'round the air

She's lost in conversation with the birds of the air
She's trading information in a world without fear
She's fixing up a potion made of laughter and
    Love, love, love, love, love
And I will follow the enchanter on the road to the sun, yeah

    Round, round, moving me 'round
    Round, round, round

[ Robert Plant & The Strange Sensation Lyrics are found on www.findlyrics.com ]
Oh, that the stars will light my way
Oh, that my tides dance the ebb and sway

She's studying the planets and she's searching for signs
Her eyes promise mystery and her treasure to find
She's mixing my emotions, it's so easily done, easily done
In league with the enchanter on the road to the sun, oh yeah

Oh, that the stars will light my way
Oh, that my tides dance the ebb and sway
Yeah, it's so very easily done

She moves through the mountains and down to the sea
She sings in celebration with her piper for free
She's leading the man who's beating the drum
And love is all around her on the road to the sun
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious" -- Albert Einstein
