    Thanks McNo,

So far it's a beautiful day - we're watching the happenings on Parliament Hill. It's been a great show - totally Canadian, no slick... love it. I hope that the weather holds up for the people there - we've had waves of clouds and serious downpours for the last few days.

I know you're happy to be home, but don't do too much - it'll rise up and bite you in the ass, so to speak. Don't be a hero... take your meds and be careful getting around and don't overdo things. (DO NOT do any pivoting around on the ball of your "bad" leg... trust me.)

Have a great day yourself. I'm thanking God my parents chose to immigrate to Canada.

Go by yourself, it's not that bad going alone, trust me, you get use to alone after a while, ha. Take a camera along to keep you company and enjoy your Canada Day.

    Photo taken last year.

Some communities down here in the states have had to cancel their 4th of July fireworks display, and others have had to scale them back, due to the economy and decline in business contributions.

    Happy Canada Day

    Happy Birthday Frodo in Canada.

We hope you have a lovely day and that Miss Baby Kira is kind to you and that you get some nice treats and that your Mommy and Daddy give you something really tasty for your dinner.

Milly and Mabel send some purple kisses for you and Miss Kira and they have organised that their Daddy has hoisted the Canadian flag for you.
