Affordable fuel south of Del Rio, Texas

Tonight in the local news KVUE.com did a report with video (that magically disappeared) on the middle aged man whose pickup truck was confiscated
for filling up his tank on the Mexican side of the boarder. He was told it was illegal for him to fill up any other containers or tanks that aren't termed main fuel tanks. When he asked for a copy of thia Mexican Law or US Law for that matter
he was told it was National Security.

By the way the fuel prices are much cheaper south of the USA border.

If your interested in reading the ap article it can be found at Kvue
under "Mexico City discourages US diesel buying.

Finally please take notice of this link to understand the location of Del Rio, Texas

Something isn't right here, Topper. When I lived in the Detroit area, there was a time when gas was cheaper in Canada, so everyone crossed the river to fill up in Windsor, Ontario.

    Someone's playing dangerous games.

BTW, gas is an average of $3.69 in New Orleans today.
