Specifically, it was O Fortuna. A lot of people play it. It is dramatic music with great lyrics.

What language were you guys talking about? I admit half the thread has lost me. I do not speak that well in any language, but I read several very well.

Osama's nose is too long, and the bridge too narrow. The eyes are about the same size, but not the same shape. Does it take an artist to see that?
I thought the video highly entertaining though. That's really a hoot to think it could be...

Guess they must be watching CNN and see the same crap I do. The crap was really thick in 2003.

They are probably like us. They react, and believe what they hear on the radio and friends.

Gawd..... I just had a funny thought. I wonder if they have a Muhammad Limbaugh or a Aban Franken on the radio over there. And I wonder if the gullibility rate is as high there as it is here.

BTW, according to a posting from a researcher from a ratings service, they say it's as high as 42% here in the North American. While it is sort of funny, it's really sad.

    On the Limpbrain and Frank.

People don't really care until things get bad and then they start searching around for the truth. Too little, too late!

It is in no way 'devil music.' It is simply old bar songs in Latin.
    O Fortuna Salut Luna -

Basically it is about good luck and bad luck.
Oh fortune, how crazy and cruel you are, how you shine on me, how you lift me up and drop me down. ONe day the market is high, the next the entire economy if fixing to crash.

Maybe, lol, it IS devil music.

    Ironic, isn't it Hadriana.

Our national anthem started out as a bar song.

I guess the reason I call it devil music is because I always thought it was the music from the movie "Omen". I am wrong, it was Avi Santani. Sounds similar to me.

what an interesting inferrence to make! if you'll actually read the post that you're referring to (i assume that it's my post, as i don't see any other references to the ap), you'll note that i mentioned NOTHING about it being a right wing propaganda machine. your posts are often chock-full of information, but it's usually not the info that you're trying to convey.
and mary, i was actually just trying to use a little levity to lighten the mood a bit. i know that you didn't say that i was "winning."
as for the music, anything spoken (or sang) in latin in the proper tone sounds very ominous, in the same manner that anything softly spoken or whispered in french sounds like a come-on or romantic verse.

French sounds a lot like Latin to me. Perhaps it is b/c most people only hear latin in terms of legal trouble anymore. lol Me? I love Latin. Love it.

i actually studied latin for the english derivative appeal, to begin with. words i had not seen before weren't so mysterious. from the latin root and the context, i could normally work out the meaning. and the sentence structure and the way words change according to their use in a sentence helped when it came time to learn another language (kind-of).
