    Did the sun birth a new planet last month?

    Go to http://stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/images

    Try these parameters:

    Telescope = BEHIND HI1
    Resolution = 256 or 512 should suffice
    Start Date = 20090112
    End Date = 20090201
    Display = Slideshow
    Display one image per x = 1 (or whatever you prefer)

    Then click search and wait for all of the images to download and play.

    The sun is off the frame on the left. You can see it ejected something, and as it makes its way across the screen, IT FLARES right before going off the screen on the right.

    There are others things too. I'll post them in a while after I check them out to make sure my numbers are correct.

    looks to me like the lens flare (? not actually sure that is what it is, but looks like it, a corona of some sort) that appears when you start the animation you specified (starts on left, then flares on right at end).

    That certainly is a cool tool though

    I downloaded the 700+ frames and it is interesting. I'm a little confused though. What are all those bright objects? Looks like two suns. Could that be Nubiru to the right attracting a solar mass ejection towards it. It gets a direct hit, appears to ignite like throwing gasoline on a smoldering ember. Then it appears to gives off a prominence of its own back towards the sun. It's a magnetic dance in space. Particles get dragged along. I hope we aren't in between one of these magnetic transfers.

    If it is a lens flare, and I doubt it is, it just doesn't register in my brain as appearing as one, then what could be that burst at the end as that whatever thing exits off the right of the frame? I've been trying to find out more info, but like everyone else, none of the people that might be in the know are responding. So .. I think I'll just sit back and wait to see what someone else digs up on this. This is certainly a most curious thing.

    The other idea (besides mine, that stars give birth to planets), is that something big hit the far side of the sun. There are some other curious sequence of frames from some of the other satellites which show numeruos solid looking bodies popping over the top of the sun, leaving curved trails behind it, which appear to be headed in our direction (of course by the time they get here we hopefully will have moved out of their path.

    I'll dig into this more later. I've not slept for a day and a half now so I think I'm gonna crash now for a while. So, if the Earth should explode before I wake up, would someone be so kind as to call me and let me know we're all dead? Thanks, ha.

    The sun is not in the frame, it's off-frame on the left (actually, that image is upside down, because the satellite is upside down, so whatever that is, it's actually moving away from the sun relative to our LEFT, and not to the RIGHT as the image suggests). If the sun were within the frame, it would be a much larger ball.

    Here is a video of the same sequence:

    Those other spots of lights are other stars, except for that one which is not moving much, which I suspect is Venus (but don't quote me on that).

    There's a lot of discussion going on about this on various forums, so maybe someone will have an answer soon.

    The object that first appears on the left moving right is not the sun. It's a very bright object that cause a filter to drop in. It appears to be moving closer to the camera but still moving to the right. Interestingly there is another object that seems to be orbiting this larger object but it seems to be orbiting counter-clockwise and to the left. The sun doesn't appear until the very end to the left. You know this because we see a solar mass ejection from left to right.

    Notice how this lens flare crosses the field of view and lines up perfectly in the middle of the pass. That is a lens flare. What appears to be ejected from it expands, unlike the lens flare. Has what seems to be form. Like chunks of material passing through space. God damn, nice find.

    That's right, that's what I said, the sun is off-frame on the left. Somewhere on the Internet there is a description of that satellite and what it observes, I'm just to tired to search for it right now (I must get some sleep soon).

    So, what the heck could that be I wonder, I really want to know? I'm thinking it is a new planet ejected from the sun, as that is going to likely happen sometime as we cross the galactic plane. Lets just hope that if it is a new planet, that it doesn't attempt to take up the same orbit as the Earth, ha. (of course it's going in the opposite direction that we are headed so if it does then we still have a good 3/4th or so of a year left to live, ha)

    Oh, here are some parameters for a different search I found on another site:
    Telescope = behind cor1
    resolution = 256
    start/stop = 20090123 / 20090130 you may have to go up by 2/3day increments...
    slideshow option

    What is that appearing over the top of the sun? It almost looks like splatter from some kind of far side impact. ??

    Oh, that BIG transparent looking bubble moving from right to left, yeah, that certainly is a lens flare from whatever that is moving from the left to the right. Very odd, eh?

    I tell ya it's Nubiru. We don't see it because it's close to the sun. Maybe that's why the sun seems to be so bright the last month. It's so hard to even look in that direction.

    That has been mentioned on a few of the sites that are discussing this.

    Say, I just realized who I can contact to take a look at this. Dang though, I'm about ready to fall asleep (I was planning to sleep 9 hours ago until THIS caught my attention, ha).

    Get the sleep. Ask for guidance in discovering the answers you seek just before you close your eyes. You may wake with the answer.

    I think I'm gonna stick with my own idea (the sun just birthed a new planet) until I hear otherwise, ha.

    Anyhow, I sent an email off to Dr. Tony Phillips. He might be motivated to dig into this if there is a good story behind it for his web site! Well see I guess.

    Well, NOW I am going to bed! I do not want to miss tonight's C2C show, THAT TOO is something I said would eventually happen too (the states breaking up, ha). NITE for now.
