Do you have or know anyone who may have an Indigo Child. Children today are amazingly smart, their understanding and comprehension blows you away.
Parents who have these children don't know how to communicate with them, they are so far advanced.

Do you think children are just exposed to advanced technology sooner making them seem smarter?Originally Posted by Aquarius
That may be part of it, but I don't think that is it. My granddaughter who just turned four last month may be an Indigo child, she is not exposed to advanced tech and does not watch regular television, she speaks and reads Spanish, has worked with a Tutor for a year now. She has a knowing that would blow your mind away. She talks about her life as Martha. She has the comprehension of an adult and comes up with things that I can only think come from the collective consciousness . My daughter does give her many advantages, she is in a special school now for advanced children. They study science, astronomy and do experiments, this school is not about fun and games. She has this quest for knowledge and a memory that is unbelievable.
It makes you wonder if this is natures way of saving humanity from itself. It may not necessarily be off world stuff but the awakening of a dormant gene brought to life by some external force like radiation or pollution.

I am hoping others here will share their stories. I could tell you much more about my grandchild but you know.............!
I'm sure they are VERY special!Originally Posted by Aquarius

These children are being born to a higher level of vibration.Just as all things have a frequency,so do we humans as well.Occasionally, the true pshchic appears, but they are the abnormal, not the norm.It seems as if many more children today are being born into a higher vibratory state where they can percieve more, their intuition is greater, their psychic abilities as well as their comphrension and intelligence are also enhanced as well.
Just as certain species have higher perceptions,as in canine's or other mamals who have a heightened sense of sight as well as olfactory perception, these beings are now being born with heightened perceptions, and an advanced capacity to percieve things. It is a logical conclusion on the human chain of evolution, for the next step.It is a sign of things to come,IMHO!

Yes they are very special, but that is not why I started this thread, I am trying to get a gage of what is going on out there or here. I used Emma as an example because she is one thousands and thousands of children being born today.Originally Posted by Gummer
What I meant when I said I could tell you much more is there is much more about her that is unusual.
By the way people who use those tags are tacky in my opinion.
Shirley, this is from the page "What is an Indigo Child?" :
Indigo Children are very often children or grandchildren of Starseeds (or Wanderers if you prefer). Here is the very best Starseed test I have ever found online:What is an Indigo Child? And why do we call them Indigo?
First, the definition: an Indigo Child is one who displays a new and unusual set of psychological attributes and shows a pattern of behaviour generally undocumented before. This pattern has common unique factors that suggest that those who interact with them (parents, in particular) change their treatment and upbringing of them in order to achieve balance. To ignore these new patterns is to potentially create imbalance and frustration in the mind of this precious new life.
There seem to be several kinds of Indigos, but in the following list we can give you some of the most common behavioural patterns. Do these fit anyone you know?
Here are ten of the most common traits of Indigo Children:
- They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it).
- They have a feeling of "deserving to be here", and are surprised when others don’t share that.
- Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents "who they are".
- They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).
- They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.
- They get frustrated with systems that are ritual-oriented and don’t require creative thought.
- They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them seem like "system busters" (nonconforming to any system).
- They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially.
- They will not respond to "guilt" discipline ("Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did").
- They are not shy in letting you know what they need.
The Starseed Quiz
Take this test yourself and give it to the parents if they'll take it. If you and/or one (or both) of them are Starseeds then it's pretty much a given that your grandchildren are true Indigoes. If not Indigo Children, they could well be "old souls", or souls who've reincarnated as many times as they personally needed to and mainly live in the spirit realm now but have come back for very specific purposes.
I'll see if I can contact an old friend of mine who is an expert on the subject and let you know what she says...

Thanks NC, I have the Indigo Children Books, the links are great for those who are not familiar with Indigo Children. I will say again I don't buy into the Starseed theory, that is not what this is about, just because children born today are unusual doesn't mean that they came from elsewhere.
My daughter is in her mid thirties and she was very much like her daughter when she was that age (4) could read, write and very advanced. The reason I mention this is because it is said these children started being born in the last twenty years, I think not, there have always been children like this and I believe that we are more open to recognizing it.
Many of the things on your list pertain to my granddaughter, but on the other hand she is very loving and sweet, not demanding but matter of fact. She is concerned for others and gravitates towards intelligent children and does not play silly childish games and also likes to be around adults. Fortunately for her she will be attending a special private school where these children are recognized and encouraged and not suppressed like public schools.
FYI I could also read at age 3 and thought to be unusual, so either the Starseed has always been around or just maybe be are evolving.
I'm glad she will be attending private school!!Originally Posted by Aquarius
That is, far and away, the best place for precocious and gifted children. Public school was hell on me, being that same way - I was "born with a book in my face", as my mother would say; there was seemingly never a time I didn't know how to read. I was never challenged at public schools and being subjected to lessons I'd long since mastered resulted in extreme boredom and, given my smartass attitude, teachers HATING me! So I'm always glad to see smart children going to schools that will let them work at the level they should.
Starseeds have always been around. The Indigo is a "next phase" sort of phenomenon.
Myself, I didn't know what to think of the Starseed thing when first presented with it... and I never thought for a second that I could have been any such thing! But repeated encounters with people whom I'd meet in the most unusual of situations, people who seemed so familiar and would, almost right off the bat, give me a message, made me take another look. It certainly could explain a few things... and I found myself more accepting of it. So I don't discount it at all, and keep it as a possibility. But that's solely my experience!![]()

I listened to Dr. Richard Boylan's interview with Art which is the Classic this week on Coast, it is interesting and I happen to know Dr. Boylan and put on monthly meetings with him in the San Francisco Bay Area around 89-91. He is a little far out for my taste, but was glad to have known him.
For those who are not familiar with him he talks about the Star Children and Star Seed and believes it is generational plus he thinks that we have been genetically altered from time to time and that is what is happening now because we are heading in the wrong direction, no kidding.
