    Cool Photo Sites

I don't know if such a thread already exists, please merge if it does, but I regularly surf photo sites just to enjoy all the wonderful pictures from around the world ... and I've quite a long long list of bookmarked sites that I've really enjoyed, but I thought it might be nice to keep a list here as I discover them.

Here's the site I've been looking at this evening:

PIXDAUS -- despite the chemtrails, I really liked this simple photo.

I'll try to make it a habit to list others as I find them, and maybe you'll post a link here too when you discover a wonderful photo or site full of photos. Just sitting looking at these pictures is so inspiring and relaxing. I admit it, I'm a sucker for an inspiring photo, and it need not just be of or nature related.

    More later ...

    WOW thank you Div
I just shared the link on Twitter. A lot of WebSites have a "Hot Link" to instantly share a link with other Web Sites.
So, now, thanks to you, more than a hundred other people, who follow me, will enjoy these photos you found

Time lapse video of night sky as it passes over the 2009 Texas Star Party in Fort Davis, Texas. The galactic core of Milky Way is brightly displayed. Images taken with 15mm fisheye lens and Canon camera:

An alternate link to the same video:

It's too bad we all can't see this every night. BOO! to light pollution! I use to spend hours at night as a kid looking up into the sky, as where I live they turned ALL the street lights off before midnight, and nothing much was OPEN for business after 5PM. Gone are those days I suppose. Now we have people that get lost in the woods for days because they couldn't locate the north star if their life depended upon it. I suppose the solution for that now is to cut down all the forests and put up more corporations, huh? Yup! (thank goodness for the upcoming galactic equinox though, huh? that will fix everything )
