GREY hair may be unwelcome, but the processes that produce it are now better understood and could be protecting us from cancer.

Cells called melanocytes produce the pigments that colour hair and their numbers are kept topped up by stem cells. Hair goes grey when the number of stem cells in hair follicles declines. This is the first I've heard of stem cells being bad for ya. I get the concept: that stem cells with bad dna could really cause a lot of harm, but stem cells dying off doesn't sound like a good thing to me. It sounds kinda like, if your dead it's a good thing, 'cause then you can't get cancer.

Yeah, lets see hearth care reform deal with that. "But doctor, I'm only 98 years old, and you know if I got a new heart today I could live for another 20 years! Do IT, it's my RIGHT! And so is my comfy social security paid for retirement home!!! DO IT, DO IT, or I'll have my lawyers sue you for malpractice!" LOL oh man, the insanity never stops, does it.

New comedy movie idea: "Earth!" The most hilarious planet in the galaxy, featuring and staring HUMONS, which we all know are a laugh a minute! ... Until the hungry hungry reptilians show up on the scene ... to save the day!
