    WADR for all who have posted in this thread, other than the late M. J. why are most so riveted with all of this??

    Yes, the man was talented...perhaps a genius in his own right. ..Yes, he had children and was beyond weird, warped, ill or beyond ill from what we know or think we know overtly.... IMHO for whatever reason.

    C'mon guys, he turned himself into a freak by his own choosing.

    What about all the other children who have to deal with so much more without all this BS and true real squalor??

    Why is Jackson's death seem to be such a huge deal?

    Don't get me wrong....I empathize more than for his children, yet I empathized with them more when they were conceived and what the likely had to live through/with.

    Why does it seem that a/some "celebrity" gets all the attention when there are people dying each and everyday, with nowhere near the $$ in the Jackson Estate, with family,children who will truly really suffer in the bare essence of life and most don't give a rat's ass about that???

    I'm not so sure he became that way all by himself. First, his father was into child slavery, and that's got to mess you up, when your parents see you as a meal ticket. Second, look at all those ga ga goofy freaky fans of his, how they act, react, to the guy. You take a kid that is already messed up, having been programmed to be their parents meal ticket, having no childhood development to speak up, and then you toss them into a the middle of all them weirdo groupy ga ga fans and .. well, frankly, I think any one of us would have turned out the same way.     That's what I like to know. What's with all the ga ga people? I find the fan aspect of this rather interesting. Like you said, what is it that makes MJs death newsworthy, but all those that died in automobile accidents today get only a few lines in the obituary section of some little local newspaper? What makes some goofy little teenybop quiver and tear and scream MJs name? What the hell is up with THAT? Dang, I can't even understand why one humon would want another humons autograph. That is the aspect of this that intrigues me. Why do humons engage in idol worshiping? Why does MJs death deserve more news time than anyone else that died yesterday? That's what I can't understand.

    Part of the fascination is just the fact that it could happen to you - in fact someday it will. It gives us a focal point. We don't know all those people who die in car accidents every day - and when we do then sometimes it comes too close to home. But mostly they're just statistics, we don't know their names or anything about them. There's also the unsettling feeling that celebrities are somehow special, above the mundane. So if this could happen to a celebrity then what could happen to us?

    I am very moved by this tragedy. I noticed I shed a tear thinking about MJ. Why is this? Well, for one thing, we knew him better than someone we read about in the newspaper. But I think there is something else going on....

    I think he was a tender person. And, there is pretty good evidence that he was abused and had a strange, unnatural childhood. He rose above this and revealed a part of god's personality in the sheer talent and energy he displayed. When you saw him perform, you were seeing something special - something beyond mere average human talent. I always think we are seeing something about God when we see talent like this because it is clearly from God that such unusual talent comes from. This is the basis of our attachment to him. It is an attachment to God - the source of this amazing energy.

    I will really miss Michael. I was very curious to see what he was about to bring to his up coming tour. MJ brought a great deal of happiness and even hope to people in backwards countries. It sounds corny, but it is true. He was a symbol of freedom and unity to people in oppressed countries. He was a symbol of hope. He was the most famous person in the world.

    I feel like I lost a brother, and I am sad.

    Michael Jackson’s personal physician Dr. Tohme (who is NOT a licensed physician) has gone missing. His BMW was impounded from the home of Jackson in Holby Hills, CA.

    It’s being reported that the Doctor (Dr. Tohme) administered Michael Jackson his daily injection of Demerol (synthetic version of Morphine) around 11:30 am and after that Michael was feeling tired and lethargic, and that “overdose” contributed to Michael Jackson’s death…

    Family members and staff say the “pain killers” that were given to Michael on a daily basis were “too much”. Michael Jackson’s family attorney and lawyer Brian Oxman, warned of this happening comparing his pain killer drug intake to Anna Nicole Smith.

    Update: We learned Dr. Conrad Murray was Michael Jackson’s personal physician who was at his home and performed CPR on Michael, NOT Dr. Tohme as this is turning out to be a crazy story…

    The cardiologist being sought for questioning in the investigation of Michael Jackson's death was hired by a concert promoter to accompany the entertainer to London for his comeback concert series, a Jackson advisor said today.

    Dr. Conrad Murray, a physician with offices in Nevada and Texas, was with Jackson when he went into cardiac arrest Thursday; police, who talked to Murray briefly at UCLA Medical Center, are trying to track him down for further interviews.

    Dr. Tohme Tohme, a Jackson advisor, said that Los Angeles-based concert promoter AEG Live retained Murray and that the physician arrived in town less than two weeks ago.

    Phillips said AEG Live advanced Jackson money to pay for Murray's services as part of the production costs. Phillips said he asked Jackson why he wanted Murray with him full-time. "He just said, 'Look, this whole business revolves around me. I'm a machine and we have to keep the machine well-oiled,' and you don't argue with the King of Pop," Phillips said.

    Well, sounds like this story done. Lets move on now.

    There are so many of us average, boring people. When someone has actual TALENT, we should pay our respects. This talent comes from god. Yes, the person might be egotistical and CLAIM all of this talent or intelligence for him/herself, but the gift comes from its real owner - God.

    Did you hear that straight from the horses mouth, or are you're just making that up? Where's the proof? As far as I can tell, talent is something one must work at, and not something that is randomly or selectively distributed by some fantasy being. I need proof, or it's just a contrived rumor.

    Nemo, I do believe that some people are 'born' with talent. They just 'have what it takes', and nothing can stop them. Michael was one of those people. Even when he was so young, he 'had it'!

    Yes, talent and genius is GIVEN to a person at birth. What did Einstein or Edison or Tesla do to be born with such intelligence? NOTHING! You do not develop a Michael Jackson - THEY ARE BORN THAT WAY. This is why I say that it is simply from god. There is no reason to feel jealous or envious. Just enjoy it and praise it. Give it its due. Respect it because you are just respecting God. Div, you and I are boring.

    Nemo, there is a piece of the creator in each of us... You have it right! We are not programmed... we each have free will, and there are a myriad of choices and places we have to be in/go to. And that goes along with the simple fact that 'we are not alone'.

    Gees, there are people committing suicide now because of MJs death ... 7 reported so far. Ya see what all this foolish ga ga idol worshiping leads too. What kind of pitiful lives are some people living when ... when .. ah, never mind, I guess I just have to accept the fact that some humons are NUTS .. ga ga nuts, I tell ya. This display of gaga-ism that some humons are displaying over some celebrity is pitiful, disgusting. Another reason why I'm embarrassed to be even half humon.

    Ah, ya gonna make me dig that up again? If I feel up to it I'll look it up later, right now I'm not in the mood to dredge up these depressing reports, but you can if you want. That Rev. Jessie Jackson also came out with a brief statement too with something to the effect that these self-destructive acts must stop.
