Obviously Papa Jackson wants his son to make lots of money now that he's deceased. Sort of like Elvis... Worth more dead to the relatives than alive.

I think that while it might be free to get a ticket, there's going to be a lot of money made by scalping them.

Yeah, I thought that I read that too. Well, don't shoot the messenger, I'm only reporting and sharing what I read.

An entry fee isn't really surprising, tho', huh? Along with selling T-shirts?

Get your Michael Jackson Farewell Show IOU tickets here, get them while the ink is still wet. Hey, I should make a fake ticket for everyone to download and print ... for free. ... (lol) .. nah, somebody probably wouldn't think that is so funny, especially if a riot broke out over confusion about tickets. Some enterprising young fellow will of course be trying to do so .. probably hawking government bonds at the same time too.

Michael Jackson's family announces that 11,000 tickets for Tuesday's memorial service will be made available via an internet draw.

Oh, Judee! Thanks for your input! BTW, what an adorable little happy-face florist's bouquet. We can always count on you to keep us in many flowers and cutsy stuff!

Did they ever bury MJ? I heard that his body went to the ceremony at the Staples Center, but that the family whisked it away before the end of the tribute. Oh, and I heard the body was there, but the brain had been removed.

Then I heard the family went to Forest Lawn (famous cemetery in L.A.) but that his body wasn't buried there.

Who cares, but the MSM sure used up a lot of ink, cyberspace, etc. I have tried to avoid all of the hype, but one would have to be dead oneself to not hear some of this stuff.

I've been trying to avoid this story as much as possible, however I stumbled across this today so thought I'd share.

    Possible??

    Jackson 'murdered for his money'

Michael Jackson's sister La Toya believes the King of Pop was effectively "murdered" for his money by a manipulative entourage.

In interviews with Sunday newspapers, La Toya gave details about the 50-year-old singer's sudden death, drugs found in his body and a stash of cash and jewels that she claims have gone missing.

She told the News of the World: "We don't think just one person was involved in the murder. It was a conspiracy to get Michael's money."
La Toya, 53, accused a "shadowy" group of hangers-on of cutting him off from his family and friends and forcing him to sign up for 50 concerts at London's O2 arena.

They also fed him drugs and saw him as a "cash cow", she claimed.

"He was surrounded by a bad circle," she told the Mail on Sunday. "Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who weren't always on his side.

"Michael was worth more than a billion dollars. When anyone is worth that much money, there are always greedy people around them. I believe Michael was murdered, I felt that from the start," she added. "Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people."

Well, what I'm thinking is his family left him off on his own, doped up and freaky. I think he supported ALL of them for years, which gave him power over the family and the hangers-on. Like they wouldn't confront him re: his weird ways. "Michael that's wonderul. What a good idea! Don't send me to the cornfield, aaaiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeee!

I think he died of one too many medicines, like Elvis. But this is a conspiracy in the making...probably be talking about it for years!

I agree with you Dorie. Elizabeth Taylor is another example of the same type of thing. Funny too, that she and Michael were such 'good' friends...
