Div, if they 'legal da weed', you're gonna pay a whole, whole, lot more for it! Government might make it legal, just like alcohol and cigarettes, but they'll tax the heck out of it! And no, they won't allow you ever to grow it for yourself.

And yes, we 'raping, polluting, and trashing the planet to death'! No argument there from me. Mother Nature is cycling right now though, and per usual, things will take care of themselves one way or the other. There are many innocent people on the planet though. And many good, kind, and giving people... But where you have life, you have change. We will all survive anything that comes, either in the physical, or through our real state of energy.

(snickering...) yeah, right, like how it's prohibited today?

We will all survive anything that comes....
I wouldn't count on that, there MUST be a reason why there are so many earthworms under my feet. My guess is all the really naughty humons get to come back reincarnated into a bunch of cows and chickens and pigs and other lower lifeforms so that they can be trampled upon as they have trampled upon other lower lifeforms in their previous life. Reincarnated into cows, chickens, pigs, etc. may or may not be true. Point is that we will all 'survive' in our spiritual/energy form, whatever the earth throws at us. And at this point, she would be justified to throw everything and anything at us! But the cows, chickens, pigs, dogs, cats, etc. will cross over with all the nasty humans also.

    Pseudoscience cesspool
Manipulation and fraud no longer ignorable
    By Paul Driessen

As frigid Copenhagen prepares for the latest five-star global-warming conference, newly released e-mails by crisis-promoting scientists have exposed a cesspool of intimidation, data alteration and fraud.

Their views, data and models are central to reports by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the Kyoto Protocol and proposed successors, and also U.S. cap-and-trade bills.

However, the Climategate e-mails reveal an unprecedented, systematic conspiracy to stifle discussion and debate, conceal and manipulate data, revise temperature trends that contradict predictions of dangerous warming, avoid compliance with Freedom of Information requests, and pressure scientific journals and the IPCC to publish alarmist studies and exclude dissenting analyses so as to manufacture "consensus."

As people the world over are learning, East Anglia University Climate Research Unit (CRU) chief Phil Jones, Pennsylvania State University climatologist Michael E. Mann (of Hockey Stick graph infamy), IPCC lead author Kevin Trenberth, IPCC chief Rajendra Pachauri, White House science adviser John P. Holdren, and other climate-crisis leaders have been implicated in this growing scandal.

They, the White House and many in the mainstream media remain in denial, attempting to downplay or obfuscate the collusion and junk science. But the scope, depth, gravity and depravity of the conspiracy are incontrovertible.

These activists built their careers and reputations on conjuring data sets, computer models, scenarios and reports - all claiming that modern civilization's use of hydrocarbons is about to destroy the planet and all financed by much more than $100 billion in U.S., British, European Union and other taxpayer money.

Realist climate experts have long smelled a rat. Now, finally, the rat has been flushed from its sewer. The stakes are infinitely higher than a James Bond baccarat or Texas Hold 'Em card game.

This bogus, biased "science" is being used to justify expensive, intrusive, repressive, abusive treaties, laws and regulations. For developed nations, the new rules would undermine economies, destroy jobs, close down companies and entire industries, impoverish families and communities, roll back personal freedoms and civil rights - and enrich the lucky few whose lobbyists and connections may enable them to corner markets for renewable-energy technologies, carbon offsets and emissions trading.

For the most destitute people on the planet, the stakes are literally life or death. These people - 750 million in Africa alone - do not have electricity, cars, modern homes, jobs or hope for a better future. They die by the millions from malnutrition and lung, intestinal and insect-borne diseases that would be reduced dramatically with access to dependable, affordable energy.

But the alarmists' bogus, biased "science" is being used to justify building a climate wall between these desperate people and the modern, energy-rich world, perpetuating misery, disease and death.

Mr. Jones, Mr. Mann, Mr. Trenberth, Mr. Pachauri and many others implicated in this growing scandal should do the honorable thing and resign their posts. If they refuse, they should be put on paid administrative leave until every aspect of this scandal can be investigated thoroughly. Dismissal, fines, jail or other appropriate action should follow. None of them should be allowed to represent their governments or organizations in Copenhagen.

Institutions that received climate-alarm grants should be disciplined and removed from future grant conduits if they knew about these actions - or would have known had they exercised due diligence.

The entire IPCC and peer-review process must be repaired. The alarmists and self-appointed censors who have corrupted the system must be replaced with scientists who will ensure honest inquiry and a full airing of all data, hypotheses and perspectives on climate science, economics and policy.

President Obama should cancel his trip to Copenhagen, his plans to lobby for a new climate treaty, and his intention to commit the United States to slashing its carbon dioxide emissions to a job-killing 17 percent below 2005 levels by 2020.

Most important, the United States, Britain and all other responsible nations should slam the brakes on every proposed "climate crisis" treaty, agreement, bill, regulatory proposal, "endangerment" finding, and endangered species action. We must get to the bottom of this scandal and determine which data and claims are honest and accurate - and which are bogus, fraudulent and unfounded - before moving forward.

Something is indeed rotten in Denmark, and East Anglia. It is time to clean out the climate cesspool and bring integrity, transparency and accountability back to science, law, government, universities and public policy.

Paul Driessen is senior policy adviser for the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), which is sponsoring the All Pain No Gain petition against global-warming hype.

Just a follow-up to those who are interested. BTW, it's interesting that since this story broke, and word got out to meteorologists and news departments, some of the links have come up missing or have been broken.

Fallout Over "ClimateGate" Data Leak Grows
    CBS News

Ripples created by the disclosure of global warming files now being called "ClimateGate" continue to spread, with congressional attention growing and the head of a prominent climate change group stepping aside.

Phil Jones, the head of the Climactic Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, said on Tuesday that he will relinquish his post\1 while the U.K. school conducts an investigation into allegations of scientific and professional misconduct.

Jones' announcement comes as he and his allies, who published some of the foundational data used to support the claim that global warming exists, have been pummeled by waves of criticism. As CBSNews.com reported last week, the leaked files show that prominent scientists were so wedded to theories of man-made global warming that they ridiculed dissenters who asked for copies of their data, plotted how to keep researchers who reached different conclusions from publishing, and concealed apparently buggy computer code from being disclosed under the Freedom of Information law.

The reverberations have extended beyond the campus of the University of East Anglia and the CRU. E-mail messages from Michael Mann, a professor in the meteorology department at Penn State University who has argued that mankind is threatening "entire ecosystems with extinction in the decades ahead if we continue to burn fossil fuels at current rates," appeared in the leaked files. Now Penn State(PDF) has opened an investigation into Mann's work, and the U.K.'s weather agency has been forced on the defensive as well.

Some mainstream academics working in the area have distanced themselves from Mann, Jones, and other researchers whose correspondence has drawn allegations of impropriety. Aynsley Kellow, a professor at the University of Tasmania who was an expert reviewer for a U.N. global warming report, told ABC Radio there was evidence of a "willingness to manipulate raw data to suit predetermined results, you've got a resistance to any notion of transparency, an active resistance to freedom of information requests or quite reasonable requests from scientists to have a look at data so that it can be verified."

Hans von Storch, director of the Director of Institute for Coastal Research who was assailed by Mann in one e-mail message, calls the CRU axis a "cartel" and suggests that Jones and others avoid reviewing papers. A colleague, Eduardo Zorita, went further and said Mann and his allies "should be barred" from future United Nations proceedings and warned that "the scientific debate has been in many instances hijacked to advance other agendas."

With the Copenhagen summit just days away, the leaked files have extruded themselves into the political fray in Washington, D.C. White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said on Monday that he believes "climate change is happening" and is not "in dispute anymore," while Republican Senator James Inhofe called for "Climategate" hearings.

To be sure, many -- perhaps even most -- climate scientists still seem to agree that the evidence for global warming is substantial. Nicholas Stern, chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics, calls it "overwhelming." Thomas Crowley, professor of geosciences at the University of Edinburgh, told the Washington Post that the CRU-leaked-files episode "reflects badly on the people who are so desperate to discredit global warming." (That would come as a surprise to MIT's Richard Lindzen, who wrote an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal this week stressing the unsettled state of climate science.)

Look for the topic to come up at a previously-scheduled hearing Wednesday morning convened by the U.S. Congress's select committee on global warming. Two supporters of the theory of man-made global warming -- including NOAA administrator Jane Lubchenco, who has called for immediate government action -- are set to testify. Republicans surely have their questions already written down.

The reason the East Anglia data matter is that computer models have been erected upon them, which have been incorporated into governmental and U.N. reports, which in turn have become the basis for actual and proposed government policies. So all this amounts to a prelude: the important questions domestically are whether the Senate approves the cap and trade bill next year and what happens with the EPA's efforts to regulate carbon dioxide. Internationally, the question centers on the fate of the Copenhagen summit.

Even before the massive East Anglia document leak, the odds of an agreement being reached at Copenhagen appear to have been narrowing. Throw in a Fox News report about the U.N. and global governance and some black YouTube humor, and it looks like climate change skeptics have finally found their voice. And scientists and politicians endorsing dramatic limits on economic growth to limit carbon dioxide have been reminded where the burden of proof properly lies.

Obama Changes Date of Copenhagen Visit to Later Arrival
    FoxNews / AP - 4 December 2009

President Obama on Friday abruptly altered the timing of his upcoming appearance at an international climate summit in Copenhagen, hoping to capitalize on steps by India and China and build a more meaningful political accord, the White House announced Friday.

Danish Prostitutes Offer Free Sex to Climate Conference Delegates
    FoxNews / AP - 4 December 2009

Things are getting hot and heavy in Copenhagen ahead of the city's massive climate change conference.

The city's mayor warned hotels against patronizing Danish prostitutes during the upcoming U.N. summit — but the Copenhagen hookers are reportedly striking back by offering free sex to anyone who ignores the warnings.

Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard sent postcards to 160 Copenhagen hotels, urging guests and delegates to refrain from buying sex, Spiegel Online reported.

The city's prostitutes have retaliated by offering free sex to anyone who brings one of the cards to an assignation.

The response is being organized by the Sex Workers Interest Group (SIO), which says the mayor's move is "sheer discrimination."

Great speech by MEP, Nick Griffin....the only seeming dissenter at the Climategate conference. I particularly like his coining of "Pope Al Gore"

Police in the UK have begun an investigation into the theft and publication on Russian internet servers of private emails and documents from top scientists at the University of East Anglia. The university is a primary research body for the UN and guides the UN on climate change. These files are thought to prove that the global warming theory was fabricated.

Alex Jones, the renowned filmmaker and radio host, dubs this scandal as one of the biggest hoaxes and financial frauds in the history of mankind. He says that it appears to be a global 'Ponzi scheme' which allowed bankers to profit from bogus carbon taxes for years.

The climate change hoax was created to install global governance and global taxation, this has been the agenda of the NWO.

Blood And Gore – The Nickname For Al Gore’s Carbon Trading Firm That Is Poised To Make Billions Of Dollars From Carbon Credits

We all know how the mainstream media loves to portray Al Gore - the visionary "eco-prophet" who shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his climate advocacy. But is Al Gore truly such a selfless do-gooder? What does it say about the motives of an environmental crusader when that person stands poised to rake in billions of dollars from the very carbon credit trading scheme that he is tirelessly advocating?

That is exactly the position that Al Gore finds himself in. The leading advocate of the theory of "man-made global warming" is also one of the people who would likely benefit the most financially from the implementation of a "cap and trade" carbon credit trading scheme.

You see, Al Gore is chairman of Generation Investment Management. David Blood, the former chief executive of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, is the CEO.

Thus the nickname - Blood and Gore.

Wikipedia describes Blood and Gore this way.....

Generation Investment Management LLP (GIM) is a London-based investment management firm with an investment style that blends traditional equity research with a focus on sustainability factors, including social and environmental responsibility and corporate governance.

It all sounds very noble, doesn't it?.......

Obama Ignores 'Climate-Gate' in Revising Copenhagen Plans
    FOXNews - December 5, 2009

The scandal has prompted calls for Obama from global warming skeptics to skip this month's climate summit in Copenhagen, instead, the White House is doubling down on its commitment.

The controversy swirling around the leaked e-mails of climate scientists apparently trying to downplay data and exclude dissenting opinions has led to calls for President Obama to skip this month's climate summit in Denmark until the e-mails can be investigated.

Instead, the White House announced Friday that Obama was doubling down on his commitment to the summit's goals and moving his visit later in the month, hoping it will secure a "meaningful" agreement.

The scandal being referred to as "Climategate" has rallied global warming skeptics, who say the threat is exaggerated, let alone caused by humans. In some of the e-mails stolen by hackers and posted online, scientists at Britain's University of East Anglia's Climatic Research Unit appear to discuss hiding or deleting data that may contradicts global warming claims. Others discuss ways of keeping competing research out of peer-reviewed journals.

Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is the most prominent figure to call on Obama to boycott the conference in Copenhagen in the wake of the e-mails' release.

"The president's decision to attend the international climate conference in Copenhagen needs to be reconsidered in light of the unfolding Climategate scandal," she said in a posting on her Facebook page. "Boycotting Copenhagen while this scandal is thoroughly investigated would send a strong message that the United States government will not be a party to fraudulent scientific practices."

But on Friday, Obama abruptly delayed his arrival at the summit until Dec. 18, the last scheduled day and considered a crucial period when more leaders will be in attendance. Obama is hoping to capitalize on steps by India and China and build a more meaningful political accord, the White House said.

The U.S., India, and China all have specific proposals on the table for the first time, and world leaders are aiming for a deal that includes commitments on reducing emissions and financing for developing countries. They no longer expect to reach a legally binding agreement, as had long been the goal.

The White House is shrugging off the Climategate e-mails.

"I think there's no real scientific basis for the dispute of (global warming)," White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said this week.

And Obama's top science adviser, John Holdren, downplayed the e-mails Friday, telling Congress that the controversy involves a small group of scientists and how they have interpreted and shared global warming data.

"It's important to understand that these kinds of controversies and even accusations of bias and improper manipulation are not all that uncommon in science, in all branches of science," he said at a congressional hearing.

"The strength of science is that these kinds of controversies get sorted out over time as to who is wrong, who is right, and how much it matters, by the process of peer-review and continued critical scrutiny by the knowledgeable community of scientists," he said.

Rep. Darrell Issa, the top Republican on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, on Friday joined Sen. James Inhofe, R-Okla., in calling on the Obama administration and Congress to investigate the Climate-gate e-mails.

"The very integrity of the report that the Obama administration has predicated much of its climate change policy upon has been called into question and it is unconscionable that this administration and Congress is willing to abdicate responsibility of uncovering the truth to the United Nations," the California Republican said in a written statement.

"The administration's Climategate denials and refusal to acknowledge the need for a congressional investigation are a sad abdication of their responsibility to ensure that U.S. policies are not driven by corrupted science and data," he said.

Some climate change analysts say the e-mails undermine the entire Denmark conference.

"This raises questions about some of the very U.N. science that forms the basis of what's going to be discussed in Copenhagen," said Ben Lieberman, a senior policy analyst at the conservative Heritage Foundation and an expert on energy and environmental issues.

"There's a lot to be concerned about here," he told Fox News. "At the very least the president shouldn't agree to anything in Copenhagen until we get to the bottom of Climategate and find out just how much there is to global warming that we can still trust."

Despite a recent decline in global temperatures, the trend over the past 150 years has shown temperatures rising, but the timing of the e-mail scandal is perfect for skeptics, said Heather Conley, senior fellow with the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

"It doesn't negate the fact that the global community does need to address its rate of emitting carbon and it needs to develop clean and greener technologies, but it does continue to throw this debate out there," she said.

The president's climate czar, former Environmental Protection Agency administrator Carol Browner, said she's sticking with scientists who believe in man's impact on global warming.

Fox News' Wendell Goler and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

U.N. climate chief: Hacked e-mails did damage
On eve of summit, top official says evidence is solid despite the controversy
    AP - 6 December 2009

The U.N.'s top climate official on Sunday conceded that hacked e-mails from climate scientists had damaged the image of global warming research but said evidence of a warming Earth is solid.

In an interview with The Associated Press ahead of the U.N. climate summit starting Monday, Yvo de Boer said the e-mails pilfered from a British university fueled skepticism among those who believe the science is manipulated to exaggerate global warming.

"I think a lot of people are skeptical about this issue in any case," de Boer said. "And then when they have the feeling ... that scientists are manipulating information in a certain direction then of course it causes concern in a number of people to say 'you see I told you so, this is not a real issue.'"
