    Sauces - Tis the season

The folks at Dave's Insanity have come out with a special "Political Sauce" - LINK - You can get the ....

    • Al Gore
    • Barack Obama
    • Dave (he wants a political office)
    • Fred Thompson
    • Hillary Clinton
    • John Edwards
    • John McCain
    • Mitt Romney
    • Newt Gingrich
    • Nunov Deabove
    • Ron Paul
    • Rudy Giuliani

Each bottle is Cool Cayenne hot sauce, with your favorite politician's picture on it.

Actually, Profits from the sale of these sauces will be donated cancer related charities.

BTW, he is now selling the C. GHOST PEPPER HOT SAUCE again. It's made with Bhut Jolokia "Ghost Peppers" (the hottest peppers in the world!). I would not put this directly on a steak or something, but it's great for making chili or a rub on a piece of meat to bring out the flavor. ie: 1 tsp per cup of Jack Daniels bbq sauce becomes a killer wing sauce. If you like hot foods, keep a link to Dave's for cooking sauces. Warning: Dave's stuff is extremely hot.

Finally, I heard on the Food Channel today about Earp's Western Sauce from Mukilteo, WA, which I'm going to try. They used it with poultry, so I'm kind of itching to try it as a marinate on a boneless chicken breast, slow cooked on a hickory grill.

PS: Doing bacon wrapped fillet mignon with Idaho baked potato & vegetable mix for dinner tonight.

That has to be some really HOT STUFF. But again, use it for cooking only, not direct. I've used Dave's Insanity in dishes before, and use only 4 drops per 1 cup of homemade BBQ. It's interesting to watch people's faces as they get the "twang" of the hot sauce, which mixed 4 drops to one cup is on the warm side, but not too hot that people won't eat it.
