I just heard a couple of interesting items on the 8:00 am news, here in Ottawa (27 Sep 10).
1. There would be a news conference TODAY held by 6 US military personnel in which they will be talking about UFOs, etc. I will try to hear at work today and post what I find. Keep an ear out for it.

2. And the UN has just appointed an ambassador to be liaison with the aliens.... This seems to be seriously working up to a disclosure....

Press conference to discuss UFO interference with US nuclear arms
They are former officers of the United States Air Force and they are convinced that extraterrestrials interfered in US operations one day in 1967. They also believe that ETs are still keeping an eye on weapons of mass destruction in the U.S.

UN set to appoint Ambassador to handle extraterrestrial contact
New York - The United Nations is set to appoint Mazlan Othman, a Malaysian astrophysicist and current head of the UN Office for Outer Space Affairs (Unoosa), as the Ambassador responsible for dealing with alien contact.
If extraterrestrial visitors come to Earth and ask to speak to a leader they would be directed to Mazlan Othman, who is set to be the official United Nations Ambassador in charge of greeting the aliens when they make contact with humanity, according to CNET News.
The UN scientific advisory committee will deliberate as to whether or not Unoosa should be in charge of dealing with an alien encounter. It should also reach the UN General Assembly. If the two entities give the go ahead, Earth will have an official leader to handle alien contact.
Next week, the 58-year-old Malaysian astrophysicist will lay out a proposal at the Royal Society’s Kavli conference centre in Buckinhamshire to address a possible alien contact scenario and the political processes that would ensue after such contact. “The continued search for extraterrestrial communication...sustains the hope that someday humankind will receive signals from extraterrestrials,” said Othman, reports the London Telegraph. “When we do, we should have in place a coordinated response that takes into account all the sensitivities related to the subject. Leslie Kean and todays press conference on ETs vs Nuclear weapons
Over the last month Ufo disclosure progress has made huge strides - From the catholic church, to the United nations appointing an Et officer and now US airforce officials coming forward at todays press conference in Washington, it's no co-incidence that these important events happened this month.
Today in washington numerous US airforce officials came forward admitting that Ufos have infact disabled and interfered with our most powerful defense - nuclear weapons (i have posted about this for years). Our governments have keep this secret as it a major national security threat - if our most powerful weapons can be de-activated in an instant by Et's then where does this leave us and why are they doing this? It makes us think what is human-kind doing wrong?
I will be writing a full follow-up on the outcomes of today's highly important conference and you will be likely hearing more about it in the news over the coming week.
Leslie Kean's book on military generals and Ufos seems well timed just pre-dating the conference and she deserves credit for her ten years of investigative reporting into the topic:..........

The press conference brings together witnesses to UFO incursions on United States military bases and nuclear missile launch facilities to reveal to the press the nature of these events.
Capt Robert Salas, said: "The US Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases and we can prove it."
This is a significant press Conference, part of a perfect storm of UFO disclosure that began with Leslie Kean's book UFO's, Military Pilots and Government Officials go on the Record and includes soft disclosure in the form of NBC's The Event, whos plotline involves the disclosure of the reality non-human intelligent life to the public.
The United Nations just yesterday announced that Professor Mazlan Othmanof the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs is tasked with the responsibility to meet with and conduct negotiations with extraterrestrials that might come to this planet.

Aliens 'hit our nukes': They even landed at a Suffolk base, claim airmen
September 27, 2010 - It may sound like a Spielberg movie plot, but if senior U.S. airmen are to be believed, this scenario is not science fiction.
They claim that since 1948, aliens have been hovering over UK and U.S. nuclear missile sites and deactivating the weapons-- once even landing in a British base.
Furthermore, they warn, our governments are hushing the activity up.
Captain Robert Salas, who, along with six others is to break his silence on the subject, said: 'We're talking about unidentified flying objects, as simple as that.
'They're often known as UFOs, you could call them that.
'The U.S. Air Force is lying about the national security implications of unidentified aerial objects at nuclear bases and we can prove it,' he said.
The former officer said he witnessed such an event first-hand on March 16, 1967, at Malmstrom Air Force Base in Montana.
'I was on duty when an object came over and hovered directly over the site.
'The missiles shut down -- ten Minuteman [nuclear] missiles. And the same thing happened at another site a week later. There's a strong interest in our missiles by these objects, wherever they come from. I personally think they're not from planet Earth.'
Colonel Charles Halt claims to have seen a UFO at RAF Bentwaters, near Ipswich, one of the few bases in the UK to hold nuclear weapons.
The sighting is said to have taken place 30 years ago. First he saw the object firing beams of light into the base then heard on the military radio that aliens had landed inside the nuclear storage area, he said.
'I believe that the security services of both the United States and the United Kingdom have attempted -- both then and now -- to subvert the significance of what occurred at RAF Bentwaters by the use of well-practised methods of disinformation.'
The six former U.S. Air Force officers and one former enlisted man, are to present declassified information which they claim backs up their findings. They have witness testimony from 120 former or retired military personnel which points to alien intervention at nuclear sites in the U.S. as recently as 2003.
They will urge the authorities to confirm that alien beings have long been visiting Earth.
A press conference today in Washington will also highlight testimony from retired U.S. Air Force Captain Bruce Fenstermacher, whose security team saw a cigar-shaped UFO hovering above FE Warren nuclear base in Wyoming in 1976.
