Blue light

I finally found a place that might be able to explain to me what I've been going through. For the past 2 years I have regularly seen a blue light the size of a quarter. The color is beautiful; I've never seen it on this earth, had a dream about it though many years ago. It will appear about 3 feet from me and move slowly for about 4 seconds. Then it disappears. This is not like the dots you see when you stand up too quickly; this light has 3 dimensions to it and a movement that doesn't seem random, more like it's aware of me and moving around me? It gives me a feeling of something familiar and has a strong sense of empathy.....

BTW, this forum is amazing. I've been reading many interesting threads on here :-)

Hi anatta, and welcome to IW!!

What you are seeing almost sounds like something from the spirit world, or in other words, that place that we all go when we die. Since you say it feels familiar, and is obviously friendly, it could be some kindred soul protecting you somehow. Have you tried to communicate with it somehow?

It comes and goes, when I realize it's there it's gone or going. I should try to think about it when I'm relaxing or going to sleep. It started appearing when I was going through very hard times. I have also made new friends that are very perceptive, it might have something to do with them.

Very interesting... Could be one of your 'guradian angels' then, as in someone who has crossed over and is now watching over you. I think that's an incredible and beautiful thing to experience!

Hello there anatta. Welcome to IW. That's interesting. I must ask if you've tried to record it. If you have video on your cell I'd try to keep it handy and get it on file. Does it appear to pass through the wall? If so from above or the side? Any chance you could find or manipulate a paint program and post the closest shade of that blue?

Judee, it actually might be something that's protecting me. I get a good feeling around it.

Blackeyes, I never considered documenting this. I am going to start writing down what I am doing when this happens to see if there is a pattern or something. I could have something recording in my environment but I doubt I would be quick enough to snap a picture when I experience this. It doesn't go through walls. It usually appears in front of me and fades away quickly.

Since I'm a graphic designer I should be able to draw this or make an image of it on photoshop. I will post it on here when I'm done. Won't have time until next week though.

BTW, I like this forum. Some very good reading material on here and the people are down to earth and friendly ;-)

Hello anatta....please accept a very warm welcome to IW and our community.

My advice to you would be to follow your gut and your instincts.

Put "protection" around you, in whatever way you find that resonates with you, and then, again, in your personal way, attempt to "communicate" with the energies that seem to be present, setting very clear parameters within that interaction...then wait to see what comes to you and what manifests.

I think the positive thing here is that you are getting a good feeling about what is manifesting, however do remember, that sometimes the dark energies begin this way, just waiting for permission or invite to go further.

Documentation of course would be interesting, however that may not be the most important element in all of this, however if you are able, without distracting from what is actually or may be occurring, that would be incredible.

Sounds like you got your search on.
It's funny how one thing or another can get us to searching,,,and it's always amazing how the search can take a life of it's own.

Your blue light can be many things. As you can see, when you start flipping through the pages here,,,,we tend not to rule too much out.

The fact you feel a strong sense of empathy from it, does tend to make me think you could very well be dealing with an intelligense.
A non-organic, non-physical intelligense,,,and I for one absolutely believe in those things.

It could be an angelic being, it could be a crossed over soul coming back to say hi, it could be an earth bound soul seeking empathy in return for it's situation, it could very well be a nature spirit and this possibility increases as your enviernment would be more condusive for such a meeting ie that you be in a nature setting. And though these possibilities may open the doors to speculation, they surely are not the only choices.

funny thing about lights in your vision...if this one makes you "sense " something...it could be like an orb...but i was having blue lights starting to show sometimes in the corners of my eyes...but no sense of anything but annoyance...it turns out that is is part of the onset of a migraine...but...like i said if you fee like its aware of you...its probably something very different...

Thank you all for the warm welcome. Pyrite, I suffered from migraines for 20 years and I know what you're talking about. I would usually see little red lights and get blurry vision before an attack. This is different though, the light is much brighter and has a totally different motion. I even considered for a while that I might be epileptic. Epileptics see light spots before an attack. Ha ha ha

This discussion reminded me of something really strange that happened. My ex-boyfriend's mom was working in a home for mental patients one summer in the 70's. She became really attached to one patient which was a schizophrenic. He was very intelligent and down to earth but kept seeing this evil pirate everywhere. The pirate followed him around and made him miserable. Anyway, when she quit working there she got a group photograph of herself with the patients. 10 years later her mother was looking through the album and says to her "Look at the pirate in the grass". She looked at the picture and there was an evil looking pirate's face in the grass. I saw this picture 15 years ago and it shocked me and made me reconsider what insanity really is. There was a distinct shape of a pirates face in the grass and it was grinning. He looked very evil and mischievous. Maybe a lot of insane people are more perceptive to the spiritual but can't handle it and lose control of this reality we are living in?
