I just woke up. What is happening with the nuclear power plant there now?...is it in actual melt down or are they getting anywhere in trying to cool the reactor?

At a session of the President's Export Council on Friday morning at the Old Executive Office Building, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton spoke about the U.S. delivering coolant to Japan for its nuclear reactors, CNN has confirmed.
"You know Japan is very reliant on nuclear power, and they have very high engineering standards. But one of their plants came under a lot of stress with the earthquake and didn't have enough coolant. So Air Force planes were able to deliver that. So we're really deeply involved in trying to do as much as we can on behalf of the Japanese and on behalf of U.S. citizens," she said.

I gotta say,,,if your country is in earthquake central,,,why then have a nuke power plant? I don't get that.

Any advice for being proactive in terms of supplements for oncoming raditation?

Japan warns of nuclear fuel melting after quake damage

CNN is saying that they've been told one fuel rod has partially melted, still trying to cool off the reactor with water.

They were talking about moving some Easter Island residents to higher ground... taking precautions.

George just said one of the reactors has just had part of the wall blow off and that the fuel rods may be melting.

I was thinking tonight how the ME got pushed to page 2 fairly quickly since last night but I hate to think about it being geo-engineered but I suppose I shouldn't completely dismiss the idea which in itself is disturbing.

I was thinking tonight how the ME got pushed to page 2 fairly quickly since last night but I hate to think about it being geo-engineered but I suppose I shouldn't completely dismiss the idea which in itself is disturbing.

I know that it's more than disturbing to even contemplate that anyone could or would orchestrate such atrocity, however it has been done before again and again, in different ways. We have heard for years about the advent of weather and other geological warfare....I couldn't help but think of it, although the thought or possibility of it makes me more than ill..

I totally agree, makes me ill too. Weather manipulation can be used to help people, save lives, do great good, but it's been weaponized. Geo-Engineering, the ability to create earthquakes, Could be used to save lives too, by causing regular, small quakes, to make the plates relieve their pressure more regularly and not build up to huge and deadly pressures. But, again, I think it's been weaponized. So many of our best technologies seem to have been either developed by Military scientists, or were stolen and used for military purposes.
