Ever been to a Fortune teller? - Psychic - Card Reader - Other?

I just remembered when I was 21 or so as a "joke" a few of my friends and I went to "Madam Zelda's" or something like that.

She told me I would be with a man for a long time, then a foreign man, then end up with a man in black. (( I thought immediately this was cool, seeing as I liked the man in black in The Princess Bride))
Anyway, I also was going to know great pain and sorrow, but an amount of wealth.

That is all I can remember for now, it was a 20 dollar reading. Very Vague..but I thought interesting all the same.

I don't "meddle" in anything like that now. Not even my horoscope, I just don't need to.
Haven't "been with" a foreign man as of yet(( )).. and The man in black could be oh so many things.

I was curious if anyone else had ever been to one?

I went to a psychic fair back in 1992 or so. I wandered around with a female friend checking everything out. I decided to shell out $50.00 for a psychic reading. I was told that within 5 yrs I would be married and eventually have three children, all boys. I was also told a slew of stuff so vague that it could be interpreted to apply to virtually anyone. Within the 5 yr window, I became the proud Daddy of two precious and wonderful little girls and although this was many years ago I still don't have any son's that I know about at least anyway.

Speaking of 1800 psychic lines - my father in law called one shortly after my husband moved to Alabama where I was from. (He wasn't exactly supportive at the time.) The woman he talked to told him his son would be back by July. Well - not exactly what he expected - but we did come up to visit them for a week in July.

I guess I've just been lucky with psychics. I've had readings, just for the fun of it, 4 or 5 times in my life. The stuff they start off with is always general, like you're a Leo, you're agressive and hard working, etc. But when you get to the point where you ask them you're question, their answers have always been right on. The last time I went was a few years ago. It was on New Year's eve. I asked if there was anything in the near future happening with my career. She said that within 2 months I would be promoted but that I would have to impress someone with paper and numbers first. I work for a grocery store chain and 2 weeks later a management position came open at one of our stores and I applied. I hadn't been with the company as long as some of the other applicants so I knew I'd have to be right on for the interview. Being a numbers person, I graphed out my p&l results for the last 6 months to show him the progress I had made. He was so impressed that I got the job immediately. Then it occured to me that I had just impressed this man with a piece of paper with numbers on it!

The things that the psychic told me were spot on in terms of what my life is going through and what kind of personality I have etc. She told me about a spirit guide who was trying to get through to me and would most likely use my dreams to do that. There were so many things said that I wrote down everything since I didn't think to have it all recorded on tape LOL..oh well next time I will..

It seems like we can recieve messages via human intemediaries.
I"ve had a couple of good ones myself.
I think it helps if we use our own intent,,,and ask our higher selves for a message.

After all,,,,,if your higherself wants to,,,,,,,,he/she should be able to stack a tarot deck don't you think?
