Earthquake Swarm At Hoover Dam -Cover-up?

    http://beforeitsnews.com/story/1215/...overed_Up.html

Something is afoot in Arizona that no one is taking seriously. Consider this: A 2.0 Magnitude Eq is equivalent ot 10,000 pounds of TNT. If there were doing mining then: a. More EQs would show up and then be deleted b. Why is 10,000 pound of TNT is being detonated c. 10,000 pounds of TNT is a Hiroshima sized device I am not saying nuclear tests are being done under this lake. What I am saying is that there are earth movements near Hoover Dam. Dangerously close to the Dam. Laughlin and Lake Havesu are downstream. Hoover Dam provides power for most of the US Southeast

Yup, not to mention that whiz-bang bridge that took them many years and dollars to build. I've been watching those quakes (the ones they let show up) and wondering.

From Wiki: Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the United States. It is located on the Colorado River about 30 mi (48 km) southeast of Las Vegas, Nevada, in the states of Nevada and Arizona. Formed by water impounded by the Hoover Dam, it extends 112 miles (180 km) behind the dam, holding approximately 28,500,000 acre feet (35.2 km3) of water.[1]

Here is sort of a map of where the earthquakes are happening--a little south of Las Vegas. Four of them are showing here. I live about 67 miles south (little blue "X") of Hoover Dam. I think, I hope, that there are enuf mountains so that a flood of Lake Mead down the Colo. River wouldn't reach me. Who knows?

Interesting stuff, and frightening to think what could happen if the dam went. There was also a 5.9 off the coast of oregon early this morning.

I feel pretty much the same way about that bridge, although friends who have used it claim you don't even realize that you are on it. Yeah, I bet! (I've developed some acrophobia in my maturity it seems.)

It used to be a real hassle to get across the dam. There were narrow curving roads leading to it and the traffic just crawled, plus there were a lot of looky-loos out sightseeing. It was a drag and a half! Now they zip through so fast, they get across in no time and pile up in Henderson which isn't equipped to deal with all the heavy traffic that gets there so fast. Go figure, huh?
