Father Malachi Martin

Art Bell is more than he pretends to be, which has always annoyed me,....his relationship with Martin was on a deeper level than Art lets on..once you realize he never would of been allowed to interview Martin with out consent of the higher ups...

I don't know anything like that about Art. Maybe I have always been naive when it comes to him, but I don't really care. He was fairly famous (world wide) for a long time--who knows who his friends are/were or what he might have been involved in. No skin off my nose, fer shur! He certainly was entertaining, regardless! His show kept me spellbound for many many years! I will always forgive him/and or disbelieve whatever anyone may think/suppose about the way he has lived his life. I think most members here will realize what a good ride he always gave us in spite of all of the negative stuff that people have conjured up since he left.

All of the negativity regarding Art makes me think that it is merely the syndrome "that our hero has feet of clay" to justify their disappointment that he isn't there for us anymore.

I understand what you're saying Dera, but I don't think his putting his daughter out front and center like he is doing is a wise thing. He still has many staunch fans, but he also has some enemies as he has learned more than once. But that said, it's his own business in the end. Yes he took us on many a good ride, but sometimes it gets to be not so much what someone did in the far past; but what they're doing in the here and now.

nah...i think art bell is kind of dishonest in the way he plays people...he could have great shows, but he seems kinda slippery just under the surface.....

Martin was amazing, agree with what you said, so well spoken and just comes off as very credible with all things to do with his religion. You don't get a sense that he was some gimmick or an ego personality trying to sell. He was just a very genuine man, don't know if there are many more out there like him.

He is the type of speaker that connected with religious and even non-religious people, that is almost impossible to do
