I totally forgot that yesterday was Friday the 13th. Not sure if I think there is something to that superstition or not, but I decided to stay home today just in case.

For years I've searched for my elemental, animal spirit guide, whatever it's called. And I just could not find a real fit, a lasting fit. Maybe for some people it's something that doesn't reveal itself until the person is ready? Yeah, now, finally, the Owl feels like a good fit.

I used to have fun with Friday the 13th, in a spooky way....kinda like Halloween. Now it's just another day. Maybe that's a kind of good sign?

I think it's perfect for you Mary. Maybe it has to do with getting the internal spiritual awareness before you realize what that fit is. I think we can have many...depending on where we are in our journey.

I guess for some of these superstitions, I do the "just in case" thing....kind of like not walking under ladders or stepping on cracks in the sidewalk, just in case. Why invite anything you may not be aware of, "just in case"

Yup....I think the "just in case" approach to life is a good idea, very wise!

I have to go back and read Casteneda again. I really can't recall anything about a ball of light with fibers in our stomachs which grow or diminish depending on our spiritual growth. Maybe that is just a pictorial way he chose to paint spiritual energy

I think he started out talking about the Bible as a true book of Prophecy....see how things are today just like the Bible warned...but kept saying he didn't want to bring in Religion...just how governments and society and everything is becoming like the Bible predicted...then...insisting he didn't want to bring in religion...he talked about Jesus...

...yeah, somewhere in his head I guess. Glad you heard the same thing I heard....and I have no idea what his point is/was

This caller is talking about Gettysburg. I have been to some sites where the civil war was fought. There is a strange, dense energy at a lot of those sites.....very intense that one can't help but feel.
