Such behaviour would show very little of those qualities on his/her/its part and that is no God worthy of my service. I think the world is set in motion and God intervenes very little. We are created in the image of God in that we are capable of transcending the pursuit of the physical to look to the spirit in the world around us and within ourselves. The development of this ability is a process like growing a flower from seed. We all have it and to a certain extent we all do it or we become cynical deciding it's not worth it which is its own spiritual path as well. The outcome for each individual is decided by the the choices made and the lessons learned from each choice we make and each person's outlook is going to be colored by their experience. But there's no conspiracy. Random things are going to happen, good and bad.
