    Our 10 p.m. moon is big and bright--tho' maybe not as big as I thought it would be after all of the hype. I, of course, forgot to go out earlier to see it, dang it. The whole sky is very bright. Don't need a flashlight out there at all.

    Not much new around here. I spend the day digging dandelions out of my lawn. They've banned so many herbicides here that they are spreading like wildfire so I'm probably fighting a loosing battle.     Oh cripes. Those poor people probably had about the same choice as we have had on the installation of all of our nuke plants. Atonement? Pah!

    I agree, but that attitude sound very congruent with Japanese culture....kind of a hara-kari of a different kind.

    Nick is the same, finicky Nicky, and spoiled rotten. I got cigs yesterday (an off brand, but they are just fine) for $30 per carton. (Shhh. Don't tell on me for smoking ) . Anyhow, a checker at the grocery store gave me the hot tip--the Riverside Hotel/Casino over in Laughlin. Nevada. (Better than from the Native Americans!) I had a luncheon with my cronies at a place about halfway to Laughlin, so I went on over there after lunch. I walked more than I have in years and nearly finished myself off. I can barely walk today! I sat down at about a dozen slot machines (never put even a penny in a machine) and rested. It is a humongous place! I might be able to find the smoke shop faster the next time as it was a lot easier to find my way out than it was to find the shop. The pain pills are not helping my back today--or anything else! I am sure I should walk 'way more than I do, but it is easy to avoid stuff that I "should" do, especially when it hurts. The pool is up to 70°, so I can swim in two or three more weeks. I will do that!
