    I had planned to be here for the start of the program. Got sidetracked by an old friend on who needed my shoulder for her woes.

    How are you, py? Hot here, 95° this afternoon and about the same for tomorrow with a Red Flag Warning for wind and fire danger. Hey Dera, what do you expect from the danged desert? Takes me awhile to get my head acclimated is the problem.

    Earlier they were talking about robotic cars for seniors. Instead of taking away their keys when oldsters get "too dangerous" to drive, a robotic car might extend their independence and even delay having to move into some kind of care facility.

    Won't that be cool? The guest thinks that may be coming.

    Yeah, that would be a cool application for sure.

    My Firefox is all screwed up on this computer and I have no idea how to fix it. All my toolbars are all screwed up and hidden. I just did a system restore and that didn't fix it

    Did you try to update FF? Every time they want you to update screws me up big time. I usually stall as long as possible. They keep hounding you to update. They bugged me for a long time to download Firefox 12. They finally getcha by telling you that you will be very vulnerable and lose security features if you don't comply.

    I finally gave in and downloaded FF 12. They added some MP3 Tube toolbar (that said something about Yahoo) that I hated. I couldn't get rid of it. I was almost in tears. I disabled 12 and tried to reinstate 11. Did that three times using different sites to download. There isn't any way to dowload 11 anymore that I could find. Then I happened to notice on my desktop that I still had the FF11 set-up icon. It worked! Now I have FF 11 installed again and am back to being bugged all the time about downloading FF 12.

    While I was fretting and hunting for answers, I read that the MP3 thing is spam and has nothing to do with Yahoo!
    Other readers suggested several ways to get it disabled, but nothing worked for me.

    Nah, no pool yet. I guess the water isn't going through the solar panels and the Shark isn't moving. Mike noticed that when he was here. I talked to the pool guy and he said it was working. Well, it is NOT. Going to try to catch him tomorrow (later today). He has a gate key, comes early, and I miss him most of the time. Dog is false alarmist and barks at birds, leaves blowing etc., so he doesn't amount to much on guard duty.

    ...Funny what they decide to bark at and what they don't. Chi doesn't pay any attention to birds at all. I think they could land on her head and she wouldn't care.

    I looked at one of the pool cleaners the other day at the pool place. They have a new super duper one that is supposed to do a great job and doesn't use the stupid vaccum hose but it's very expensive. I would love to have one but I can't afford it. I'm going to see if I can try to save up and get one next year because cleaning the deep end kills my back.

    It's planting season here right now and I'll be working in the yard for the next 2 weeks. If you guys don't see me around very much, that's why.

    Don't wear yourself out. It wouldn't hurt to take a few extra days to get the work done.
