    Premonition comes true

My cat (mini) has been going outside for a few months. Yesterday she was gone for 6 hours, the longest she has gone without checking in. For the first time since we got her I was sure she had been killed by a car, absolutely sure. I went out looking for her, I emailed my friend 3 times saying I was worried (which I have never done before). Mini showed up soon after, to my relief. I dismissed my worries.

3 hours later she was hit and killed by a car right outside our house.

RIP mini, you were a great companion and friend.

Project, I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved companion and friend. My heart goes out to you.

When she was gone during the day, I just knew she was dead. I thought I was worrying, but now I think it was premonition.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, the house is really empty now, 2nd cat we lost this year.

I read about your tragic event, and just wanted to commiserate.... Somehow, you knew what you thought... I know how hard is to lose a dear pet companion; it so silent and empty once when your companion is gone. Hope you find soon the new pet companion and fill your heart with joy. Though, I am sure you will leave lots of memory room for your RIP mini.

Thanks Ivaray. I actually do not (or did not) really believe in premonition, but this event changed my mind. I just hope and pray that I did not in fact cause this reality to happen, rather than foreseeing it. This is the problem with premonition.

We got 2 new kittens and they are both asleep on my desk as I write this, so the house is not so empty anymore.

Don't blame your spiritual knowingness for your cat's passing. I'm sure before you came into this life you wanted the emotional/spiritual awareness to prepare you for living on this planet of grief.

Sorry for your loss. Interesting that as soon as I started writing this Frisky, my sister-in-laws cat, came down to say hello.
