I think this is going to be quite an interesting Program. Our friends here at IW who do not support Israel probably won't like what they hear. Oh well. You know the drill....any argument/discussion is free of personal attacks or name calling. Let's learn from each other. Let's learn to agree to disagree.

My personal stand is: I fully support Israel.

What exactly is your time difference in Alaska from us on the east coast...for example the difference between you and CST or EST?...just asking from your comments in the AJ/John B thread earlier...is it 4 hours for EST?

Anyway, not to worry...I don't think anyone should support Isreal or anyone/ any place except for what they are or what they do or stand for. I guess there must be some other kind of reference for support of Israel that I don't get...can you help me here?

Hi Alpha The time difference between Alaska and East Coast is 4 hours.
I support the Jews/Hebrews/Israelites and the home given to them by YHWH or g-d or Jehova, which is Israel. I believe they are The Chosen People. Of course this is all Bible based...what can I say?
And I admit I believe every where that it is written in the Bible that Jehova demands we all support his Chosen People.
Now, you know me, you know that I'm no longer the victim of some kind of indoctrination. You know I've been thru a lot of changes, done a lot of reading, studying, etc. to come to my position vis a' vis Israel all on my own.
Such a small Nation, just wants to exist in Peace. It is the only nation in the Middle East where all Religions are totally free to practice, openly, their beliefs.
I'm paraphrasing: If all the surrounding Nations laid down their arms, there would be Peace. If Israel laid down her arms, she would be destroyed.

Thanks for sharing Mary...and I hope you know I respect you, your beliefs and that I love you no matter what you believe or if our beliefs differ

No God IMO would have a "chosen people" to the exclusion of all other good people out there who don't subscribe to whatever.

People should support love, goodness, intent...and sorry I can't buy in to any of this.

It almost seems to me like this is just perpetuating divisiveness, blame between what those believe in the Middle East ( Islam) & Christianity....and doesn't that just fit nicely into the plan and all that has been orchestrated since 911.

Israel does NOT live in peace...just look at what they have perpetrated and continue to perpetuate on the Palestinian people.

All Nations need to lay down their arms and all religions need to lay down their pulpit relative to that they have the only truth, because their so called books, leaders say so.

This all just makes me crazy...sorry.

If there is a "God" a "Creator" then we are all his "chosen people" IMHO ...all of this smacks to me of control and BS...not that many of the old texts perhaps didn't give us much insight, food for thought and perhaps even prophecy, however the way these people quote all of this from only one perspective, line and verse, smacks to me more of mind control, almost worse that MKULTRA ever perpetrated.

If I want to got to a Christian revivialist meeting/pow-wow, I will go to one...and I don't...I sure don't want to spend my time listening to this stuff....sorry

I guess this is a real hot topic tonight on H&H....Interesting that people will read Mayan Prophecy, and Hopi Prophecy, and other books of Prophecy, and nod their heads and say "That makes sense...we have much to learn...". But when the exact same things...ideas I mean and teachings....are in The Bible...those same people say "...no oh no that's just mind control...no that's just bunk...". I mean I really don't understand this.
I love yunzes you know that but I do not understand why you diss what the Bible has to teach when you accept the same stuff from other writings?
