I agree. I still think he is nuts. But I don't understand a lot of stuff such as mountain climbers, English Channel swimmers, etc. Never have followed acrobats, daredevils and such. Never been my "thing".All I can say is good for him.

Saw the pain doc this morning. His latest thing is talking about injecting cement into my spine; out-patient procedure. I asked him to put a hold on that and could I please get an MRI first? I hurt in several places in my back and sometimes in the front, too. I'd like to find out what is going on in there before I do something as drastic as getting shot full of cement. Now I'm wondering if Obama's death panels will agree to pay for an MRI for someone my age, let alone the cement procedure.

If I were you, I would go and try to find myself a naturopath....preferably one who is an MD too. I don't think I like the idea of putting cement in a body

Sure, giving up for tonight is OK by me. I haven't looked at what John B is bringing us.
After the doc, I took myself out for a lovely big breakfast. All of the food was cold. Butter wouldn't melt on the toast and the eggs were congealing. The coffee was bitter. I complained and the manager brought me a new breakfast that was a lot warmer. Then I came home and slept most of the day.
I sure can find other stuff to do, however! My housekeeper is coming tomorrow and I need to clear a path so that she can get in.
