I thnk we have it all wrong.

The Paranormal is really the normal...universal reality.

And I agree to the extent that if true self-centeredness hurts another in a bad way, then that could be considered evil. But if one is self-centered and it only hurts themselves, then I wouldn't consider that evil.

Well I'll just say that self centeredness always affects others unless one lives in total isolation....JMO.

Very interesting conversation right now between George and Joshua...they obviously don't agree. George thinks it's o.k. to break in to get insulin in necessary so the caller's son won't die and Joshua is very uncomfortable with that and obviously doesn't feel that that's o.k.

That's a real tough call....is stealing ever right?...another complex question.

If I had a son, and he were dying, and I could save him by breaking in (wherever) to get insulin to save him, then I agree with George. If I had a son or daughter, and they were dying, I'd kill a rhino to save them! And 'I' wouldn't have to 'steal' to save my 'son' if this country had a proper medical freakin' system!! :

Case in point... I want to stay in the country (self-centeredness), and it's affecting my sister because she hates the fact that I'm isolated (in her mind), and it's driving her crazy. Am I evil?

I would too Judee in a heart beat...and if there is bad karma to pay back for that, then I'd willingly accept that too.

The caller I think was talking about a scenario where the grid went down and he couldn't get the insulin any other way.

If someone is so self centered that they lack regard, empathy and even hurt others by their self centeredness, then to me that's a choice and if they knowingly know that is affecting others negatively and don't care, well to some extent that is "evil"

I think just as you have a right in your constitution to protect yourself and your loved ones, that we all have a right to try to survive by any means necessary.

The key is is for survival only....not to benefit or thrive by perpetrating things that are not absolutely necessary.

Guess I look at 'evil' as WWII and the Nazis, or any war where innocent people are killed, raped, or tortured, etc.--That type of thing. 'Affecting someone else' is negative, but not evil to me. Anyway, I'll shut on on it.

I think the callers point was, that people in the ghost trapped state don't seem happy.
