Are any of you going to be watching any of the Olympic Games?

Mom was watching the opening ceremonies when I was there today and it was horrible......worse than...a huge extravaganza of sheer crap.

I wish all the countries would get together and build wonderful facilities in Greece where the Olympic games originated, and quit making it a huge burden on so many countries. They say that the Olympics in B.C. will take the people a hundred years to pay for! Outrageous!

I have no plans to watch them at the moment, and I'm not even sure if one of my few TV channels will even be carrying it. I don't get CBS at all, and don't know if NBC will be carrying the games. I have admiration for the athletes that work so hard to make the games, but I don't like the commercialism that has become the norm.

That's so sweet....as long as he's not chewing up your clothes while he's up there!!!

nah. i'm not a sports fan to speak of altho i do like many of the winter sports. i saw pix on 'puter of queen parachuting into stadium. what baloney eh?

My driveway beeper just went off again. The coyotes are gone, and now the racoons are here taking their turn at the apples. Gracie the cat just sits there watching the parade, wondering when she's going to get to go down and take a wee!

He's down now, but it wasn't his choice. It is very tiring to hold him and hunt & peck. At one point he shook his head hard and I got a mouthful of ears.

I'm going to toddle off now. Tomorrow night is coming fast with John B so maybe a bunch will show up. Stay safe and B Well.

The beeper is a comfort for me. The labs know what's coming up the hill, and if I were asleep for example, and something came up the hill that shouldn't, they would let me know. They have different barks for different things. Gracie is doing great. No, she's not in and out of the house yet. She likes to claw--a lot. She's a sweetie pie for sure, but I know she'd be at the furniture, carpet, etc. Believe it or not, she's very happy now.
