The Tehachapis are a beautiful mountain range. The hills here are very tall and rounded compared to the sharp relief of the usual southern California mountains.

There is a railroad track that runs fairly close to the highway with several rail tunnels in evidence. There is a windmill generated power plant in the mountains.

This is a beautiful desolate area of California and it is the only place in southern California that lends itself to this kind of activity.

I will say that this is the first time that I am hearing about this.

I will never think about the mountains the same way again.

"And I've been from Tucson to Tucumcari, Tehachapi to Tonopah
I've driven every kind of rig that's ever been made
Driven the back roads so I wouldn't get weighed
And If you give me weed, whites and wine and you show me a sign
Then, I'll be willin' to be movin'.

I've been "out of town" for a while.

Has George had Steven J. Smith on the program yet? ...
... To discuss the Tehachapi Covert Underground Complex: America's flying saucer factory.

I see Ian had Red Elk on recently.
I'm looking forward to listening to the interview.

I hope they talked about DLPs.

    Thanks, Captain.

I'm hoping to locate BadBoy's where-abouts before too long.
I understand George did a program on science fiction / science fact the other night.
I haven't heard the program yet ... but I suspect that BadBoy had more than just a little bit to do with George and Lisa coming up with the idea for the show.
