Blankets or curtains of army grreen duck cloth hanging inside this mansion which is being used as room divider partitions ... when I see two men approach dressed in combat gear. I meet them on the staircase ... saying
to them that I can bridge there minds together as if I'm spock. I place

I think there maybe a natural disaster (or a series of them) on the way in the very near future in a major city somewhere on the west coast (maybe even a little farther east).
Over the past few months I've had several very vivid dreams that leave me with a very uneasy feeling.

The first one was in late May early June. I dreamed I was in Los Angeles. I lived in a 2 story home on the beach with my husband (an airline pilot) and 2 small daughters (btw: I'm not married, don't have kids, and have never been to California). We had just come home from visiting my husband's father and as we were climbing up the steps onto the front deck of the house I looked out across the beach and thought to myself what a beautiful day it was. I put the kids to bed and was in the bedroom with my husband. He sat on the bed and I went to look out the window. I pulled back the covers and saw a wall of water coming up the beach. I turned and ran, screaming "TIDAL WAVE!" and was hit by the water smashing through the front of the house. Myself and one daughter survived., my husband and the other daughter didn't.

Then a few weeks, maybe a month, later I had another dream that I was living in a high rise in a large city (not sure where). I was at home and I heard someone pounding on the door. When I opened it my mom was standing there panicked. She told me I had to get out immediately. So I followed her down the stairs, as she had told me that the elevators were out, and we ran out the front of the building into total destruction. There were buildings all around us with their windows smashed out all the way up. Some of the buildings were leaning. Some had collapsed sections. I stood back and looked at the one I had just come out of and the floors above the one I lived on were completely gone.

I had another dream shortly after that either an earthquake or a severe storm hit the town where I live (in Texas; we don't have earthquakes here, or least no where I've ever lived). A friend of mine lives in an apartment that's kind of up on a hill. In the dream we had gone either out of town or had been staying at my apartment. When we got to his apartment, the whole back half of his building had broken away and slid down the hill.

Something else that maybe interesting, I normally don't dream in color, but these dreams have all been in full color. Also, when I dream I rarely see faces. I know who it is but in the dream the face is usually kind of blury, but, again, in all of these dreams I have seen the faces of every individual.
I don't currently keep a dream journal, but after these dreams I think I'm going to start.

My dreams are sometimes so vivid that I wonder if they were from a past life. They are about and with people that I know (in my dreams only) and sometimes the dreams are a continuation of other dreams, different episodes frog-leaping each other, sometimes months apart. But I never have any trouble identifying the people or connecting the episodic situations... and they are not about people that I know currently.

Snowbird I have dreams where I can't always identify what I'm seeing
based upon my limited understanding/education. Just flow with it and enjoy the power of your mind.

    Unhappy

I VERY rarely have dreams (that I can remember anyway) but when I do they are very vivid and detailed. The one dream that I can say with 100% certainty was real and prophetic turned out to be very tragic. It involved my girlfriends little brother named Brad.

I had dreamt that Brad and I were at my best friends cabin in the Sierra Nevada mountains about 30 miles from Lake Tahoe. We decided to go exploring and crossed over highway 50 on foot and climb a huge snow covered bluff across the highway. This bluff only existed in the dream as in reality only a small fork of the American river lies across from the small 2 lane highway out in front of the cabin.

On top of the bluff we could see the highway for miles to the West and also to the East. We sat for a short time admiring the view and watching the cars go by. Suddenly we saw that one car was driving erraticly and at a speed far too dangerous for the twisty and snowy mountain highway.

At this point my memory of the dream is a little hazy but I remember saying emphatically to Brad we've got to get back to the cabin. For whatever reason I was afraid the car was going to get us even though we were high up on the bluff and away from the highway a bit.

We ran and crossed the highway but when I turned around I was shocked to realize Brad hadn't followed me across. I hollered across the road for him to be careful, watch out for cars, don't get hit, or something to that effect.

And that was how the dream ended.

I woke up and told my girlfriend about the dream. To me it was just a dream so I didn't make too big of a deal about it. Later that morning I was cleaning our bedroom and as usual I always have to throw away about two days of my GF's old newspapers.

I never read the newspaper but for whatever reason the title of the story on the top of the stack intrigued me. It was about an elderly man in Roseville, CA that tried to cross a major street where traffic moves very quickly. He got halfway across but the fast moving traffic trapped him on the center island. In desperation he tried to make a break for it and was killed. The paper played up all of the tragic details, even going so far as to report on "his shattered glasses laying askew on the street" and mentioned the many fatal pedestrian accidents in Roseville.

Brad lives in Roseville not far from that street. I told my GF that she needs to tell her little brother to be careful when walking to the stores near his house that are on that street. Not putting two and two together I left it at that and decided that since she was going to visit her mom the next day she would tell him then.

Later that same day, as we were leaving a restaurant to go to the post office, we got a call from my GF's mom. Brad was hit by a car in Roseville and sustained massive head injuries. He was life-flighted by helicopter from Roseville to the UCD Med Center in Sacramento about 30 minutes away.

To make a long story shorter he actually died on the operating table for a short time but was brought back. He is somewhat okay now but is still recovering to this day after 2 years. He permanently lost the vision in his left eye, lost his spleen, has a titanium plate in his head and screws in one of his ankles. He suffered some minor brain damage that affects his emotions and memory but that has greatly improved. Other than a little bit of trouble once in awhile coming up with the word he wants to use in a sentence he is pretty much back to normal in that department.

I have always felt guilty that I never acted upon the signs that someone was trying to give me that day. I mean it couldn't have been more blatant. I vowed that from now on if I EVER have a dream like that again involving a loved one I WILL act on it no matter how stupid I might feel telling them it came from a dream.

I urge all of you to PLEASE do the same.

WOW, that was some dream, I know it must have had a powerful impect on you and how you view things....I dream often and they are vivid and powerful images but I cannot say that they have been prophetic to this point, I am however, open to that possibility, your account reinforces my belief. thank you for sharing this with us.

Yes CD, it definitely has changed my life.

I don't see Brad much as he is now the typical teenager who doesn't have time for anything but girls and friends. When I do see him I always think about how I might have kept him from losing his eye if I would have just warned him in time.

Oh my Grim Jim, I do know the chills and innermost fears that you had to deal with when this genuinely Prophetic Dream came true. Please do not feel guilty. Especially now that your attitude about dreams and premonitions has changed, now that you have the courage to speak up, there is no need to feel guilty about Brad.
Mebbe now you and some others can understand why I share feelings and Premonitions and dreams, no matter how far out or unlikely.....just in case....

    Thank you Grim Jim

You never know about these things. There was a time when my daughter was planning a Christmas visit to Disney World with a bunch of friends. My husband and I had the same dream in which we were standing by the side of of the road, next to a body of water and watching divers getting ready to pull up a van with people in it out of the water. Hubby was extremely upset as his dream was a little more detailed than mine...It was understood that our daughter was in that van.

The bottom line is that, after consulting with her circle of friends, it was decided that she should go with the dream and did not end up going to Fla. Needless to say, absolutely nothing happened. However, she was taken out of the equation and was not part of their decision-making process. She'll never know if the dream would have come true if she had gone, but hubby and I are quite sure of what could have happened. Can we prove it.... no.

She has had other dream warnings and has learned to heed them. We're a strange family, I guess. We take all this as a matter of course. We get a warning, we heed it... life goes on... normal stuff for us

I think your assesment is correct, a warning is a gift, if we are smart we take it!

I have learned through the years to listen to the inner visions but not to allow them to create or over shadow any mental fears. (nutshell - pay attention use your freedom of choice)

Over the last several months I have repeatly been seeing a man who owns a white humvee limo business ... this man needs to drop one contract with a group of oriental businessman/thong.
