I think that the site has been hacked a few times, and has had to be redone.
You can listen to 640 via there site http://www.640toronto.com/
then click on their media player http://corusmedia.media.streamthewor...AM&active=true
Worth it for the Spaceman alone!
Of course the best possible outcome would be for Syrett to get the Sunday spot on Coasttocoast AM. Here's hoping that some one in high places is reading this. It'd show 1010 AM too!
Seems that Alex Jones is picking up the Richard Syrett story and even talking about getting him on the show sometime soon. It's mentioned at about 4 mins into the clip - notice that Alex visibly winces when he hears the news.

Believe it or not the PP thread is started by Patrica Doyle - the Lab Gal.
Good find Grobi...thanks for putting this up.
Do you know if Alex did a follow-up interview with Richard as he indicated he would try to do?....I don't know what the date of the video clip is.
Any word on anyone else picking up his show?

Unfortunately no word on Alex Jones, but Richard Syrett will be returning to the air, with Glastonbury Online Radio, according to his Facebook fan page.

Send an email to Glastonbury Radio telling them that you're tuning in for Richard and maybe forward the link to some of your friends and get them to tune in also.

I believe that the shows will be archived on Richard's Syrett's site. Plus there's even more good news-
Dear Friends;
You may or may not be aware but 1050 CHUM is now a talk station. As of 5am Thursday morning, 1050 CHUM is now CP 24 Radio 1050. During the week the station, now owned by CTV globe media, will be simulcasting programming from TV station, CP 24. But they will be running some radio only programming during the weekends.
This may be an opening for getting The Richard Syrett Show back on the air in Toronto. So once again, I'm asking you to contact another radio station, this time CHUM to let them know you'd appreciate their putting my show on their schedule.
The VP and GM of CHUM's AM and FM stations is Bill Bodnarchuk. Please find his email address below.
bbodnarchuk@chumamfm.com
I thank you in advance. This format change at CHUM may provide an opportunity to get the kind of talk radio you want to hear back on the air in Toronto. If enough people call or email Bill Bodnarchuk we may get his attention. In the meantime, you can hear me on www.glastonburyradio.net Wednesday mornings at 10am. The show repeats several times during the week and then is available as a podcast. Check my website for days and times.

Folks...this is great news and what a break for Richard!!
From the Coast site:
Firday April 24, 2009
Filling in for George Noory, special guest host Richard Syrett presides over an evening of Open Lines.
Due to engineering problems in Manila, Art Bell will be rescheduled at a later date.
I hope Richard becomes a regular on Coast!!!!

This is good news. To bad he lost the show on Mojo but he's going to bring some fresh air back to C2C. Definately will check him out on Friday.
