I went with Bigfoot/Sasquatch since he is the most likely cryptid to exist. Especially since he is a flesh and blood hominid and not a supernatural creature.

Though, I do believe there is a super-massive sea monster out in the Pacific Ocean, which is responsible for the Bloop.
