More OBE's

Yesterday morning when I went to bed,I knew I was ripe for another round of OBE's.Personally for me,when I stay up very late or am deprived of sleep,it is very easy to induce such an event.

After settling in,and relaxing,I did my usual prayer/thanks for everything.I began to feel and hear the sensations that usually occur with my astral events.The fan that I run for white noise began to sound like it was going faster, also expereinced the paralysis that can occur as well.I then had to center my concentration on one thought.As I have stated before,you have to have a singular thought to astrally project.A wandering mind will only produce dreams as the subconscious takes over.

As I focused on a singular thought,I began to feel my normal sensations.The best way to describe it is I feel like something is descending upon me and it feels like I am being shrink wrapped or something.I let this feeling continue,as fear will kill it,and suddenly I felt my astral body as if it were falling through my bed.It is a very strange sensation,and others might have different sensations,but none the less,they all indicate a seperation of the physical body and the consciousness.

As often happens,I detected the presence of another entity.Either one of two situations is occuring when this happens.It is either a negative entity,or a manifestation of your egos.I have encountered both in my travels,and while the negative entities can be very scary,they cannot harm you.Their purpose is to scare you away from the astral realm.A manifestation of the egos as a being is also common.The astral entites as egos will often appear as younger,almost adolescent beings as that is when we formed these psychological adjuncts called egos.They are fifth dimension entities who enter and leave as we entertain anger,greed,and so on.It is the "I,me mine",mentality that creates these entities.

Before you can leave your body and have an astral experience,the egos will depart first.You can sometimes hear them cursing,mumbling and so on as they depart,for they are the creations of negative thoughts that we all create,and we all creat them at a very young age.The entity that I encountered seemed to be an ego manifestation as it was young in appearance.I did manage to get hold of this entity and grab it,and fight with it.I should have tried to kill it,as this signifies your willingness to let go of the pride ,greed,anger and so on,but I did not.I always seem to stop short of killing the astral representation of the ego.This means I have more work to do.

I did however manage to explore some while in my astral body,but my visions was limited,and darkness can prevail.Either a person has limited consciousness or a negative entity can cause you to be in darkness.Either case,it was my fault as I did not do the necessary preparation for protection before I entered the astral realms.It does however take time to learn how to explore a new dimension.

As the "Good Book"says,"We wrestle not against flesh and blood,but against principalities,and spirits in high places".As I can attest,this is entirely acurate.The final frontier is not outer space,it is the higher dimensions,where you can travel to the edge of the galaxy in a few seconds.

I'm apologizing now Capt'n B...but you cracked me up with this first line of your post I suppose it is just the mental framework I'm in at this moment..but you just gave me a good belly laugh. I'm headed to bed in a few minutes...and perhaps I too am "ripe" for some quality OBE work.

CB I think it is great that you are able to have OBE's, I have come close but my fear always takes over. I do have another type experience while meditating and visually can see all kinds of things and I have a friend who listens to me who sits at a distance on a rock. He has long white hair and bread and wears long white robes. I also have a sanctuary I visit all the time, I created it many years ago and it has never changed.

Well Shirley,the fear killed it for me for a long time.In the beginning,I used to have a lot of sleep paralysis,and I became deathly afraid of it.I was absolutely terrified of it.Noone could tell me what was happening to me or merely looked at me very funny.It was only after I discovered that sleep paralysis is a doorway to the astral dimension.My body had already went to sleep,yet my consciousness remained very much awake.

I finally decided the next time to face the fear and just go with it.As the paralysis came,I remained calm and kept reminding myself to just stay calm.I focused on my breathing and nothing else.The sound of my fan in the room began to sound faster than normal and my room was not dark any more.I got out of bed slowly(fast will send you back to your physical body) and found myself in the astral plane.I was more than amazed,I was astounded because it was real.I was awake.

I have taken many journeys and have seen many wonderful things,some I can't describe adequately.I also have a special guide or Master who does come to me and help me when I travel.This being appears as female and she has taken me to wonderful places but I still have to learn the lessons myself as they are not just handed to me.I once asked her what she was trying to do for me and she replied "I'm trying to help you find your way home".

I do well know that many people scoff at such tales,and they are caught up in the material world too much to ever experience such things.I can tell anyone though that it is absolutely real and anyone can do it.There is truly an awakening coming for there are many humans being taught in the astral plane.Often times,we don't remember it.Improving dream recall does help tremendously.This is how the awakening is coming,we are being taught and thusly,our consciousness is being elevated to a higher level.No cosmic rays are going to zap us and change us into super beings,we are choosing to learn,to grow.Unfortunately,many people are not going to make it as they are not ready.They have more lessons to learn,more karma to pay or work off by helping others.We should not look down on them however,as we have all been there as well.

There are three things to remember about astral travel or OBE'S.
1.You must be relaxed and somewhat sleepy,or if your advanced enough,deep concentration will suffice for being sleepy
2. You must relax the body and not move at all,becoming perfectly still
3. You must focus your concentration on only one thing and keep it there.A rambling mind will only produce dreams as you drift off to sleep and the subconscious takes over.Silence the mental chatter and focus.

If anyone practices these three things,you can experience an out of body experience.When and if you do.You will never be quite the same,and material things will seem somewhat less important because you will definately know that there is more than just this physical life we are trapped in.

Thanks for your reply Rick, maybe one day I will try it again, I know the routine guess it is a matter of doing it. By the way I have never experienced paralysis, not everyone does.

I know it would be wonderful and I certainly have much to learn and I am a believer.

Yeah,I hardly ever have the paralysis anymore.Nowdays I just relax,become still and concentrate,Sometimes it happens in a mere couple of minutes.The symptoms can vary from individual and from experience to expereince.Some people may hear a metallic clink as the process begins.Others might feel their astral arms begin to rise although the physical arms are on the bed.You can also hear a whooshing sound or hear a mighty wind blowing.

I've expereinced most of them but not all.Like I said.I always run a fan for the white noise when I sleep,and this fan wil always begin to sound faster as I begin to enter the astral dimension.Everything we see here in the physical has it's counterpart in the astral plane.When I begin to cross over,I begin to percieve the astral fan running faster as it is on a higher vibrational level.

It is weird though.I have never been able to turn on any light switch while in my astral body.They just will not work.You can flip the awitch,but nothing will happen,no light will come on,but then again,it is not dark either even in the middle of the night.

I once decided to look at myself in the mirror while in my astral body.What an experience that was!I looked a bit younger,a bit slimmer and also a bit fragmented,but the weirdest thing was that in my solar plexus area,I also saw my face smiling back at me.I was told that this is where your emotional center is located,so I suppose I must have been quite happy and content at the time.

Interesting about your solar plexus Chakra which is the thrid Chakra which is the color yellow and is where your vitality, strength of will and purpose is, also fire. power and energy.

Also to note,we have five main energy centers.
These are(not in any necessary order)
1.The sexual center,where the sexual creative energy is stored.It is the most powerful as it can creat life.
2.The instinctual center,a very primitave and necessary center for survival.
3.The emotional center(located in the solar plexus region),this is why when we are nervous or frightened,we may experience sensations in the naval/solar plexus region,such as butterflies in the stomach region.
4.The intellectual center,where are reasoning,our deductive abilites,our creative abilities are located.
5.The motor center,a basic and primitave center necessary for our survival.

People and scientists are often mistified and confused and make many theories as to why when we don't sleep,we become very disoriented,and if it continues,we will have very disturbing hallucinations.The reason is simple.When we sleep,we enter the fifth dimension,the astral plane and our energy is replenished via our sexual energy,the creative force.All psychic energy we recieve begins as sexual/creative energy that we recieve during sleep/fifth dimensional contact.This creative force is then processed and distributed to the other four energy centers.Each center is tuned to a different frequency,and this energy must have the proper time to be transmuted or transformed for each center.If we do not allow the proper time,the energy that each center recieves is not balanced properly.It is by this very untimely action that most people who are extremely sexually active,are almost always self centered,proud,bouisterous,full of themselves and so on.these people have depleted the sexual energy so fast that it has not had time to transform into the proper frequency for the other centers.

We have all seen it,the sexual animal,the one who sleeps with everyone.Their psyche is very imbalanced,and they cannot function in any other fashion than self adoration,self indulgence,and totally ignoring everyone's feelings.Most people don't know this or don;t want to know this as it is in conflict with their own selfish and self-centered goals.It is quite a revelation indeed.

Sure,I enjoy the discussion.I have been slacking a bit on my astral travel,so I decided to join up at the Robert Bruce site,'Astral Pulse'.If I am not here,I will probably be there.Can't look back on the past,gotta move on.I'l still be around though.maybe not quite as much though.
