Yes, interesting indeed. I've always been fascinated by human infatuation with idols and gods and omnipotent deities and magical wizards and superstars and other similar worship related obsessions. I wonder though, what causes that need to worship and idolize? Is it indoctrinated or genetic? What is the need and reason to make believe and worship something?

'They Who From Heaven Came' explains it all in my opinion. The darn evidence is right in front of all of our eyes to see. The 'virgin births' referred to are nothing more than 'They Who From Heaven Came' (an alien species) performing DNA and invitro fertilization. Nothing spooky or mysterious, and nothing mystical. Just plain old fashioned science. The humans of today are nothing more or less than the offspring of DNA manipulation from thousands of years ago, which is why the missing link will not be found. The 'missing link' is alive and well. The bible itself says "The sons (plural) of God, looked down upon the daaughters of man, and they were fair, and they went unto them. It doesn't take any imagination to figure out that sentence.

The early religions were a control tool, and were diabolically effective at controlling humanity. They were based on fear, and much of that fear endures to this day. The gods (aliens) would smite them if they didn't obey.

This is the first time I've seen this Thread. What a mind blower.
And yet, for some reason, it doesn't blow my mind.

So, who was the very "First" Son of God, the Return of the Sun? Was that Mithra? The fact that this so called "legend" keeps re-incarnating with different named "Characters" every few thousand years, the most recent being Jesus, tells me that somewhere within the "Legend and Lore" is some kind of Fact. There is a Truth there, within the bones of the Legend.

Hmmmm, maybe this Personage of "Mithra" does Re-Incarnate every few thousand years for a reason. "Mithra" doesn't keep ReIncarnating because he needs to keep learning something, but rather, he keeps re-incarnating because Humans need to learn something.

I don't think we've learned it yet!!

That makes a lot of sense and is certainly a Simple Truth. It's a lot more simple and basic than what I proposed in my post about a Personage "Mithra" Re-Incarnating every few thousand years.

So, if this blows Religion out of the water, what becomes of Spirituality?
Is Spirituality a falsehood? Are all Spiritual teachings false? Is our Longing for "Spiritual Growth" nothing more than a Genetic Memory of our Origins on a Different Planet, Perhaps a different Plane, and a longing to return there?
Is our longing for a "Paradise" simply a Genetic Memory of a Home Planet that is much, much nicer and better than Earth?

So, building on what Judee proposes: we Humans are the descendants of Beings from some other Planet/Plane/Universe who visited Earth and mated with the Beings they found on Earth.
Todays Geneticists theorize on something called "Genetic Memory". I think it explains salmon returning to where they were spawned and that sort of thing. Sparrows to Capistrano.
We Humans have a Genetic Memory of the Home of our Ancient Fathers. It was probably a better, nicer, and certainly more highly evolved place than Planet Earth. Our Genetic Longing to return there (like those frisky Salmon) explains such things as the Desire for Spiritual Growth, (our Spirit doesn't really want to grow it just wants to go home), a belief in a Paradise (there's no place like Home) and a belief in and fear of a Hell (banishment from Paradise, in other words, you can't ever go home).
Hmmmm, I could live with that!!

I wonder if our Ancient Home is still such a terrific place? Can you ever go home again?
