I don't know smade, but it is happening. Perhaps it is a phenomenon of the end-times vibrations, the cosmic vibrations as we now travel through the heart of the disk called the Milky Way, as the giant cosmic wheel turns every 25,000 years or so.

I don't actually claim to know, just know that it's been going on with me for some time. No BS here, actually happened to me many times!!!

I have relived some days events just like a tape machine had rewinded and played again...2 and 2 still = 4 right?

Sort of like Groundhog's Day! I have no idea what causes it other than to suppose that it has always happened and most people don't notice it. According to string theory, multiple universe are 'woven' all around us. I think that attentiveness brings these things to one's attention, although they are disquieting. It is nice to know you are not all alone, and it is doubly nice when someone else notices it with you.

This also explains bilocation, dopplegangers and many other things - in fact ALL paranormal effects as I understand them. I've also had people swear they have heard my voice or even seen me somewhere when I was not there etc.

I suppose an advanced stage of understanding the nature of 'reality' would be called 'enlightenment.' But it is certainly something that one would have to get used to in small steps and adjustments and feel comfortable with - otherwise you could feel quite 'nuts.'

Oh, if you want to go into this deeper, I have more thoughts on this stuff as I accepted all of this long ago. I read a book a couple years ago on this called 'Multiple Reality' I think. The author has been on Coast.

Gurus say the world is a 'wishing tree,' and it is my belief that we step into worlds that are more and more in sync with our desires. If a person becomes aware of this, the world can be seen as a magical realm where you observe your wishes becoming true. You step across one bubble after another until things are changing rapidly according to your wishes. Of course, if you do not understand your own power and fear all the time - THAT can come true as well.

These changes are all guided by the 'higher self' or personal deity. The personal deity can actually be conjured up and then the whole process is very much sped up. Everyone has a different personal deity - the American Indians had 'power helpers' such as an eagle, a bear, a wolf etc. Your personal deity is that part of your inner self you are most drawn toward. In my case, it is a woman. And, she has actually appeared or manifested herself to me in this world - and I RECOGNIZED her!

There are common denominators that can be accessed to arrive at alternative experiences of a reality.

As a personal experience of alternate news that didn't match reality, I too remember hearing news about Nelson Mandella being dead, while he was still in prison in South Afrika. It's quite possible that these news reports were nothing more than misinformation, yet why did they happen for so long over several years?

Another situation which may have been nothing more than a star playing with the press has been Keifer Sutherland, star of 'Lost Boys' and TV's '24'. Between those gigs I've witnessed many entertainment news broadcast personalities tell different stories of his relationship, if any, with Donald Sutherland ... ranging from "never heard of the guy" to, "distant cousin, far removed", and "not related, just coincidentally having the same last name", to "father". Surely that had to do with toying with the media, and so many gullable writers, editors and broadcasters sucked up to the bogus renderings.

Yet, for several weeks, months, indeed, I heard of a local famous political figure who'd been a loud voice on the community college education board, in the news about many social rights issues, someone who at the time of these events had been a city council representative who was running for state assembly, and by necessity was vacating their city council job. For several weeks, local news broadcasters referred to the position to be filled on the city council, hastened after by many candidates, as having been vacated due to "the demise of" Jackie Goldberg, the "untimely loss", "untimely demise", the "death of Jackie Goldberg, who'd suffered for many years from *** disease" for weeks on several different news outlets, yet then and now she's alive and well and won her bid for the state assembly. A mistake, for several weeks? About a famous, vocal and local political and social figure?

When it comes to time travel, it can far more easily be done psychically than physically. With the help of the mysterious remarks from John Titor, whoever he may be, it seems that venues into minute wormholes are the gateway into time travel by 2036. Psychically, that is fundamentally the same approach -- without all the machinery, though if you must retrieve an object from the past, then maybe a machine is necessary.

Of all the possible 'alternative reality' experiences people may have had in their lifetime, they are more likely to have happened to them as children, up to and through adolescence, and/or during deeeeeeply intimate relationships. Most all of the occult powers are cultivated in long-term loving relationships -- between lovers, between parent and child -- including remote viewing, remote influencing, telepathic communication, invisibility, time travel, together or in one witnessing the other.

As to how this happens, how this is done, and how it can be cultivated, yogis for millenia have been capable of doing this and those methods are knowable to deserving disciples.

Good post, Sadhu. Interesting stuff. I think all this is related to 'ghosts' also. I remember on Coast someone was talking about his grandfather or something. The old man had lived in the country with his wife for decades. She finally died, but the man would see lights come on in the house at the same time his wife used to turn them on - or he would hear steps on the stairs at the same time his wife used to do the laundry - stuff like that. I believe he also saw her sitting on her favorite chair. It occurred to me that the old lady is simply 'living' in her parallel world with her husband where she has not died. The old man sees into this world from time to time. If the old man managed to actually slip into this world, he may not even remember that his wife had died and may not at all notice anything unusual. That is my guess.

Interesting concept Nemo. Kinda a different spin on things, but seems plausable to me! Then again, hell, I expereince the stuff, so mebbe I'm headed for that 'rubber room'?

Perhaps our own thoughts, beliefs, dreams and so on cause the universal strings to vibrate mere, or less depending on our thoughts, and perhaps when we have strong feelings and deep desires, we cause these different cosmic strings to bump together and we jump on the appropriate one to fullfill our desires?

In other words, we draw specific timelines to us by our desires, and sometimes we can hopp seamlessly from one to the other......that would explain miracles and so on from a very scientific and theoretical viewpoint!

Here is a link to a fascinating true story that happened near me some time ago and plenty of eyewitnesses as well....Perhaps this poor fellow just happened to be at the wrong place when these cosmic strings bumped into each other and found himself in another timeline!

In 1989, my girlfriend and I attended Cyndi Lauper's funeral via M-TV.
Cyndi died from uterine cancer in February of 1989.

Now she's on tour, with a new album out.

    In this timeline, anyway.

See there! That's what I'm talking about.... I saw Lady Bird Johnson's funeral on TV, then later I saw her recieve an honorary degree, then I confirmed she was dead and buried. Guess what.... I just did a search on the Internet and .... yep! She's alive again!

Wow, this is some GREAT STUFF! Interesting story on David Lang CB. This is the sort of thing I listen to Coast for - I call them 'clues.' We need to keep this going. I say it explains everything. Maybe I'll dedicate one of my websites to this. It would be interesting to collect stories and then see how this theory could explain all sorts of phenomena.

I know before we were sort of collecting stories on people who had 'died' in the news and were now still living.

David Lang's odd story reminds me of a movie with Dennis Quaid - Art loved that movie, but I never saw it. What was the name of that? Did anybody see it?

(side note: I don't see any 'signatures' appearing on these threads - is it my browser or something? Are they there?)

Dennis Quaid? "The Day After Tomorrow"? Developed from Art and Whitley's book, "The Coming Global Super-Storm".

okay folks.... get this!!! i AGAIN drove by the place where this army surplus store was - in order to show my wife what the heck i was talking about, because she too remembers us going in there and purchasing a P-38 can opener. guess what? the store is no longer an army surplus store. it's now a booze store! further, even though this is the same building the army surplus store once occupied ... the location is totally different. let me splan....

the stores that used to be next to the army surplus store are NOW located where they've always been, but the building that was once the army surplus store (which is now a booze store) is located up the street!

where the army surplus store used to be located is a place called "the asian health spa", which is an old building - not something newly constructed - that is now sitting in the exact spot that the army surplus store used to occupy!!!

i'm not crazy! my wife confirmed this! she too noticed the difference in location and claims she'd never, EVER seen this "asian health spa" before. what's going on? are we both crazy?

theory 1.... i'm a starfleet officer and i'm locked in a romulan holodeck that isn't really a holodeck, but is a cave occupied by a lonely alien boy who wants a father figure and he's using the holo-technology his now dead parents built to keep him alive and give him something more than cave walls to look at.

theory 2.... i'm trapped in an alien zoo that only appears to be earth and have been given bio-androids to keep me company, whilst the aliens on this planet observe me and/or feed off my life via some mental link.

theory 3.... i'm actually living out my life in front of millions of viewers on TV and the folks in charge of the continuity issue within this doomed island i'm trapped on are falling down on the job!

theory 4.... HAARP hasn't just blown holes in the ionosphere! HAARP has created a rip in the time-space continuum! chemtrails are being spread over areas plagued by dimensional shifts as a glue and the scalar technology is being used to seal these rips in time and space as a patchwork measure to prevent further tearing and/or thereby stabilize areas of repeated dimensional shifting.

theory 5.... my wife and i are both crazy.

also, my wife too said that before she met me she'd experience these subtle and not-so subtle changes and returns to normalcy, but ... she wrote them off as mere memory lapses and/or FM (freaking magic).

btw, i google.earth'd this area.... the image is prolly two years old, but ... it shows the "asian health spa" in the place where the army surplus store (now a booze shop) used to be. i guess things in this timeline are jiving, but my wife and i are out of sync. this is so messed up! we can't both be crazy.... i pressed her and she's not just being nice and agreeing with me to calm me down. she's as clueless as i am on this.
