    Questions and Comments For Jennifer....

    Jennifer

Have you ever been asked about makeing any of your book into a Movie?

Of the 2 most famous Paranormal Writers of the **old**days KING and KOONTZ whp do you think has a better grasp of the Subject??

Other than Religios Text and your own work if you only had one book you could read what would it be??

Do you have someone that does your Cover Art or do you do it yourself.....

Can you briefly speak of the process you use to actually make a book come together?

    Random,

    1. yes I have been asked about a movie from my books. I am looking into it.
    2. Even though I like King, I think Kootz has a better story line to believe.
    3. It's hard to say what book I would choose, but I liked Hideaway by Koontz
    4. I helped design the cover for my first two books, but the publisher did the finale draft. On What Happened to Anna? the publisher did it all.

    Project,
writing a book is not as easy as you would think. first you have to have an idea that you know will sell. Putting it on paper takes a lot of time and work, then you rewrite and rewrite. It usually takes me somewhere in the time frame of about 7-8 months to finish a novel. I don't stay on the computer all day like some do. I keep the computer on all day and visit it from time to time to write what ever I have been thinking about. It's funny how things just seem to flow out of nowhere. I sometimes think the characters take on a life of their own and the story is written by them. I began to speak of them as though they were real people. My husband who gets very involved with this, does the same thing. He will come home from work and ask me, "what did Clara do today." or What happened with so and so today. I sometimes think we are living in an on going soap opera with each story. My husband helps me research information for my books.
getting published is another thing. It's like winning the lottery. It's a tough business.

Hi Jennifer! What was the first paranormal-esque novel/story that you remember reading and ... did that start you down this road (i.e., your interest in the paranormal and your writing career)...?

See? These are the kinds of questions I like to ask.

Don't remember the first book, but I do remember the woman I met who not only could tell me the future, but knew everything about me in detail and I had never met her before. There was no way she could have known. Her name was Madam Jewel. Thie was some time back in the 1970's She told me I would be taking a trip out west, but it would not be for fun. she said she saw me crying. Two weeks later my sister in California died and I flew out there for the funeral.
Besides all that, I had many times from my childhood on, experienced things that I could not explain, so when I met this woman, I really became interested in the supernatural/paranormal.

    Hi Jennifer,

"Even though I like King, I think Kootz has a better story line to believe" (Robins, 2006).

I was brought up on S. King stuff. As the years went by I started looking at his Gunslinger/Dark Tower stories. I was wondering about that particular storyline as a pretty cool one to believe. Those stories had a different tone and feel than his other work. Whatcha' think? Curiosity, curiosity...

Than there is the interesting borderline between paranormal subjects and how they show up in works of fiction. Fiction is in the eye of the beholder. LOL.

Hope that you are having a good day!
