    Sweet 16 Events

    Here we shall discuss only what may or may not be a Sweet 16 Event. By that I mean something that has to do with the number 16 which sticks out in such a way that Ed may have wanted us to notice. I'm making this thread apart from the other Coral Castle thread to make it easier to log and find. Here one might discuss art of the 1600s. Our new Pope. What happen 16 weeks before the Tsunami in 2004...or after. How the number 16 pertains to music (hint,hint HARMONICS - FAB). What is it about the number 16? It could be AF the opposite of FA pythagorean speaking. It could be an event that fell on the 16th day. It might involve Atlantis. It might involve Vulcan. If it has happen...log it here. As it happens...log it here. All in one place and get the credit for it because no one else has done this. Please keep your entries on this subject as factual observation. Speculation is fine as long as noted. So let's figure out Ed and his 16.

    This may be related: I was watching an old Star Trek last night on G4 channel (gamer station). The crew had some problem where they were getting very emotional for some reason. There was a shout down between Picard and Rikart. Even Spock's father was on board and he went through a tantrum and argument with Captain Picard. It was like he went nuts or had a nervous breakdown. Picard said, "You are not being logical." And he said, "I am logical you fool!!!!" "I am logical!!!" just shouting it with his veins sticking out. It was great. In my living room are 16 pieces of furniture and pillows not counting the TV.

    Coincidence? By the way, I HAVE been to Coral Castle. I was there a week after Richard C. Hogwash took his readings.

    Nemo, I give you an "A" for thinking everything out. In this case it is a must. Then the process of elimination comes in. For now the livingroom count probably won't apply. My intro provides somes examples to look up and confirm. The act of doing so will get one in the swing of things. Example. After the BIG Tsunami it was 15 weeks later we had a new Pope. What is it about the new Pope that the number 16 comes in. 16 weeks later or uhh 17 weeks later Katrina was at the very bottom of Florida about to change pattern and engage. Is this a sweet 16 event or not? At the moment it is an observation to keep in mind. But what is it about the new Pope that we should add to the list?

    Now, one should look up the number 16 in the dictionary. Note what is said relative to music. While you are at it, look up the word/name...Agnus. This is the kind of research Ed wanted. Not to leave anything overlooked and later weigh out what one has. Now think about your vist at the Coral Castle...what is it there that hangs? Keep up the good work...

    Well, when I was at the castle, there was a 'bed' make out of coral rock. The guide said it would make you feel heavy and put you asleep. He was right. We all felt it.

    Okay Nemo...that's good. You are thinking about what you recall there. Note that everything ED placed there has a reason/purpose. As for Agnus...try Agnus Dei and get to know it. Look it up in google and hear how it is pronounced. Read up on Jon de Pew and note how he stresses on how one needs to dig, study and take this SERIOUSLY. Sure this may get boring but later it won't. Your finds relative to 16 will be logged here. the rest in the other Coral Castle thread...if you wish to continue that is.

    Chromosome 16 is one of the 23 pairs of chromosomes in humans. People normally have two copies of this chromosome. Chromosome 16 spans about 90 million base pairs (the building material of DNA) and represents just under 3 % of the total DNA in cells.

    Identifying genes on each chromosome is an active area of genetic research. Because researchers use different approaches to predict the number of genes on each chromosome, the estimated number of genes varies. Chromosome 16 likely contains between 850 and 1,200 genes.

    Base 16 (Hexadecimal) Numbering system

    Digits used are the Indian/Arabic numbers 0 thru 9 and the English letters A thru F. A represents 10, B represents 11, C - 12, D - 13, E - 14 and F - 15. Each number occupies a place value. When F is reached, the value goes to 0 and 1 is added to the next place value.

    Hexadecimal is used to represent binary data. Its use applies primarily to the representation of letters and numbers as they are stored in computers. One hex digit represents 4 binary digits.     Thank you CD. A very nice delivery to get back on track of this topic.

    Below is a link to CODE OF THE ANCIENTS, where Michael Lawrence Morton provides his numeric observations of Coral Castle. Often when I'm working on an ancient image I find that Morton has oddly enough already provided a numeric observation of the locations I'm researching where the images are involved. Here is a quote of Morton's listed under "Also of note"...

    " *I think this "lot," upon which Edward Leedskalnin built his wonders, is a sort of "Grid Point Nest" . . . with many 'Matrix-valid' Grid Points in relatively-close proximity. This might have something to do with Leedskalnin's mysterious ability to lift and to precisely place those gigantic stones on the property.

    Also; I found in doing the calculations above, that I initially figured the latitude as VERY close to 1/16th of an inch (on the USGS Topo map) below the 'predicted 1983 NAD' latitude parallel of 25 deg 30 min 00 sec, which is in fact the precise northern border of this Quad. This initial latitude figure, in terms of seconds, showed on my calculator as 1.234567901 seconds south of the 1983 NAD parallel of 25 30 00. Notice that the figure of 1.234567901 is the Square of 1.111111111 . . . to nine decimal places.

    Now, for those of you that have the time, look up any and all of Ed's photos. If you have PhotoShop, capture and zooooom in. You will notice Ed's photos have strange oddities about them. Ed wanted this to be discovered. He was obvious about it. See what you can find.
