    Look Krog (Aborted Fetus) Amulet

The Look Krog amulet represents an unwanted child (aborted fetus). Thai men believe this item is full of power. The wearer of this item is believed to be able to attract a specifically chosen member of the opposite sex. This represents a darker side of Thai beliefs, as it is usually associated with black magic. This amulet is specifically meant for men, to attract the woman of their desires or bring you lucky in love. The Thais say, "if you are having problems attracting that certain someone, this item is made for you."

The fetus must come from the corpse of a pegant woman. It's sad that this baby never had a chance at life, but the real shame is that the wearer/owner proudly displays this amulet as it dangles from his neck - AND FOR WHAT?! A little extra mojo?

Now that is hard to fathom....I guess the quest for sexual prowess and attraction has no limits...from a female perspective, I must say, that would make me head for the hills!

Try being a nice guy and true to yourself perhaps? Easier to wear a fetus I guess.

This disturbs me like Ronald MacDonald must distrub Hindus. This is one cultural affectation I'd rather keep clear of.

That IS black magic. Straight up ancient evil.

Child sacrifice and abortion rituals are the old standbys of those who worship the forces of darkness and chaos. Abortions and the wearing or desecration of murdered fetuses are nearly ALWAYS promoted as offering some kind of sexual power to the practitioners thereof.

Abortion is used as a ritual sacrifice to the gods of sex by dark witches of many traditions. Ritual abortions are referred to as "Passing Children Through The Fire" in some black magic covens, and also in luciferian ritual. This name is a reference to the medieval pagan rituals to Moloch, or Ba'al.

    from Wikipedia:
    Moloch in medieval texts:

Like some other gods and demons found in the Bible, Moloch appears as part of medieval demonology, as a Prince of Hell. This Moloch finds particular pleasure in making mothers weep; for he specialises in stealing their children. According to some 16th century demonologists Moloch's power is stronger in December.

It is likely that motif of stealing children was inspired by the traditional understanding that babies were sacrificed to Moloch. The ancients would heat [the graven Moloch] idol up with fire until it was glowing, then they would take their newborn babies, place them on the arms of the idol, and watch them burn to death.
Aleister Crowley's OTO and Thelema practice child sacrifice as a ritual for sexual power. Some of their rites include the sacrificing of pre-pubescent boys and others include ritual abortion of a late-term fetus.

The Process Church of the Final Judgement was a 1960s luciferian cult, a splinter from Scientology. The Process also believed that ritually burning the murdered fetus of a murdered woman would bring great sexual power. Charles Manson was a Process member. Sharon Tate was nearly nine months pregnant when his disciple Susan Atkins, after murdering her, attempted to cut her unborn child out.

L.Ron Hubbard, the founder of Scientology believed similarly. Here's a quote from the introduction to a 1983 Penthouse interview with his son, Ron Hubbard Jr.:

    L. Ron Hubbard, Jr., is a survivor. His appearance on earth, May 7, 1934, was the result of failed abortion rituals by his father, and Ron, after only six and a half months in the womb and at 2.2 pounds entered the world. His mother, Margeret ("Polly") Grubb, was to have one more child, Catherine May, before her husband ditched her in 1946 to enter into a bigamous marrage with Sarah Northrup. A half sister, Alexis Valerie, survived that union. Soon after that, the founder of Scientology married Mary Sue Whipp, the current Mrs. L. Ron Hubbard, Sr., who at this writing is serving four years in federal prison for stealing government documents. There were four childrens: Diana and Quentin, who died under mysterious circumstances in 1976; Arthur, who has been missing for several years; and Suzette.

Ron Jr. says that he remembers much of his childhood. He claims to recall, at six years, a vivid scene of his father performing an abortion ritual on his mother with a coat hanger. He remembers that when he was ten years old, his father, in an attempt to get his son in tune with his black-magic worship, laced the young hubbard's bubble gum with phenobarbital. Drugs were an important part of Ron Jr.'s growing up, as his father believed that they were the best way to get closer to Satan -- the Antichrist of black magic.
And then there's Bohemian Grove and the alleged abortion rituals practiced there... go ask Alex. Jones, that is.

It seems that most groups whose goal it is to bring about hell on earth have, for centuries, attempted to convince us that murdered children = sexual power.

It also seems that, in the last 30-odd years or so, they've actually managed to convince a large number of us.

As sterile and clinical as a Planned Parenthood office may be, do you think it, possibly, could be the modern equivalent of a Molochian temple, the cold, stainless-steel process table an altar to Ba'al? Could the incinerator in which the bodies of the babies are burned be a sacrificial bonfire lit to give us all great sexual freedom? And at what price?

Most interesting thread, input and content from from many perspectives IMHO.

First, it is most interesting to be able to read, learn and contemplate "tradition", "ritual", beleif systems, "superstition, both cross culturally but yet across beleif systems.

Second, we must remember that the creative force is a basic, primal and strong one...if not the strongest one, although rooted on a lower chakra, with both the light and dark side for a high level literal comment.

So what does a ritual/custom/superstition like this represent then truly, is my question?......is sexuality here equated to creation, as in some terms of reference it can be or is sexuality overdone, sexual prowess in direct conflict with some purest sense or creation or something in between?

Is this some dark force battling the lighter force for supremacy? ...if so, with the expected outcome of what and why?

Interesting that these types of rituals, superstitions that both cat and ajspencer describe transcend nationality, country, organized religeon, politic, time etc..

I don't think I could use the term "interesting" to describe these "superstitions", mainly due to the simple fact that EVIL has wormed it's ugliness into every conceivable corner of human existance, and sadly, too often is welcomed by those who believe it's just another form of "enlightenment & truth".

    But that's me.

Very true MizzKitty, however what is of interest, chagrin, and quest is not just the what, but the why both in past and current manifest.

What are these superstitions and rituals? Where do they originate, from whom and why? Do they bring about the desired result? How is it that similar belief and ritual is prevalent before and after globalization, across the barriers of belief system, nationality, race, socio economics etc. ....that's what I find of interest....the answers to those questions.
