    Adam Corolla show/ half-time recorders

If you like good radio - and I sure do - I highly recommend finding Adam Corolla on your radio dial. He has a national show. Here in Seattle he comes on early morning 5- 10 am on the alternative rock station. Look for a station that played his 'Love Line' show with Dr. Drew. Now, I know, 'The Man Show' was not funny. I totally agree. It sucks. But Corolla on the radio ad-libbing is REALLY funny and interesting. Very intelligent and witty. He seems to know a little about everything and has major street cred as a blue collar guy. He has a good sidekick and excellent guests. This is a very entertaining show to tape or listen to live. I don't waste tape on GN and Premier anymore.

Now, to tape players. I have the CCrane Versacorder and also the little pocket player that will play the half-speed tapes. The Versacorder is great, but the little one sucks. The earphone connection goes bad. So, I went to my local department store and picked up a GE microcassette player. This little deal for 25 bucks records and plays ALSO at half speed. It also has a high quality external mic. Very clear sound. High quality it seems. Check it out. And check that show out; I think you'll like it.
