I suppose it could also be a past life memory or some genetic imprint left by our ancestors like a pseudo DNA memory....or just a mere tapping in to the energy left in that linnear time and place.
Others say that our soul/essence whatever one wants to call is can reside in more that one place/space/dimension at the same time.
Since you say the dream is very lucid....do you know that you are dreaming...perhaps you are experiencing an OBE?

I think it is possible to travel back in time, at least on the astral plane. It's harder for me to control where I end up.

I recently posted on another thread that I had a similar dream experience. It was very realistic, and I could definately tell I was in another time and place. I wondered if it could be remembering a past life. I once saw something about memories being encoded in our DNA. I don't really know much about the topic, I'm trying to figure out my own experience. I had the strangest dream last night.
I don't know if it was a vision of the future..i.e. time travel.dimension/multiuniverse travel in my sleep or some other experience.
I'll reconstruct it and attempt to document it in my dream journal.
It was certainly futuristic and like no dream I have ever had before...either time travel or some multidimensional abduction experience or OBE, which it had elements of only...not use.
It's still too new and I don't know what to think of it.
